Oh! This looks very elegant! It will look great in my Doug the Dog Gemstone Room! But I just checked Webkinz, and I already have it! This stinks! The only one I do not have is the December one. Oh well…. Another won’t do.
good point stargazer. Topaz is usually that lovely pale blue, not yellow. It does come in other colors but why not make it the “typical” color? Birthstones don’t show yellow or white topaz, they always show the pretty blue color. Ganz sure is inconsistant! How had is it to take the lamp and change the color every month? They do that with the gemstone pet ‘cars’, it’s the same thing, different color
The natural color of topaz is white. The colored topazs come from heat applied to the stone . most gems are heat treated to make them prettier. I don’t think they bothered to do a sapphire lamp…

I think it should be blue topaz.Not yellow.It not a real color of a topaz.Check gem book.
Blue topaz are the most well known, but topaz comes in many different colors. I have topaz earrings that are orange colored. They are one of my favorite pairs. This lamp is probably my favorite of the gemstone lamps, but I wish there was a sapphire one! ~DP
the orange topaz is called Citrine

I love the topaz, its my birthstone too. Eilish, I don’t think they did a sapphire lamp for Sept. I kept looking but never seen one. Kinda disappointed on that.
