As you know, Winterfest will last from January 15th until January 23rd! When you hunt snowflakes in Webkinz World, you'll receive a random prize each time you click on a snowflake, but on Webkinz Newz it works a little differently!
Each day, a different prize will be available. All Webkinz World members can win one prize per account, per day.

Each day starts at 12:00am EST and runs until 11:59pm EST. Have fun catching snowflakes on both Webkinz Newz and Webkinz World!
How do you hunt for snowflakes?
On Webkinz Newz:
Each time you load a page, there's a chance that the snowflake will appear. The snowflake loads offscreen, so it may take a few moments (after the page has finished loading) for the snowflake to appear.
On Webkinz World:
Make sure your dock is visible while you're playing. This means you can play in places like your room, the Clubhouse or Quizzy's. If the dock isn't visible, the snowflakes won't appear. If your cursor is being used by a game (gardening, making a wish in the Wish Factory, etc), you won't be able to click on the snowflake. Every few minutes, there's a chance that a snowflake will appear.

i have been in differnt zone colors today one flake in two hours and i am patient wow not so nice for us since we pay the bills we deserve better
Finally after 3 days and countless hours on WKN I finally saw a snowflake!!! Hurray but I am still very frustrated. I have been reading everybodys complaints and I am glad that I am not the only one that is having issues. Thanks all you loyal Webkinz World players for making me feel a little better.
This thing stinks! I was on wbkinz world and webkinz news for like 5 hours and not a SINGLE snoflake came! FIVE HOURS PEOPLE. And i have another comment. Why have dleuxe membership? Some families are poor and can hardly afford a single lilkinz! You freaks!
