As you know, Winterfest will last from January 15th until January 23rd! When you hunt snowflakes in Webkinz World, you'll receive a random prize each time you click on a snowflake, but on Webkinz Newz it works a little differently!
Each day, a different prize will be available. All Webkinz World members can win one prize per account, per day.

Each day starts at 12:00am EST and runs until 11:59pm EST. Have fun catching snowflakes on both Webkinz Newz and Webkinz World!
How do you hunt for snowflakes?
On Webkinz Newz:
Each time you load a page, there's a chance that the snowflake will appear. The snowflake loads offscreen, so it may take a few moments (after the page has finished loading) for the snowflake to appear.
On Webkinz World:
Make sure your dock is visible while you're playing. This means you can play in places like your room, the Clubhouse or Quizzy's. If the dock isn't visible, the snowflakes won't appear. If your cursor is being used by a game (gardening, making a wish in the Wish Factory, etc), you won't be able to click on the snowflake. Every few minutes, there's a chance that a snowflake will appear.
Me and my kids love Winterfest…but this year so far it is very disappointing and frustrating…Ganz please make the snowflakes fly some more and make my kids happy!
I love love love Winterfest…Please Ganz can you make finding snowflakes a little easier for the rest of this event!!! So far I have not found a single flake today(sad face)!

:( A few appeared the first day, then they seemed to cease, is there a limit or schedule?
I can never find them. I spend three or four hours a day and I have caught one so far!
I’m not sure what the problem is, if it’s with different servers or what, but a lot of people are getting flakes on reg WW and a lot of people are getting the flakes on WKN to get that prize, but I and many other people have been having lots of problems. When you click on a snowflake, most of the time it cuts in half and it just ignores you like you never even clicked on it and keeps going, or you click on it and it just keeps going, like you have never clicked on it at all. Sometimes, if I am fast enough and I get in front of the flake then I can get it. But all in all, I mostly wait hours for one flake to go back. It’s getting really annoying. Come on Ganz, let it really snow!! I want some prizes. It also seems like when I do get a flake every now and then and get the prize, it’s the same prize over and over, like the Chestnuts or the Snowflake Flower. Where are all the new prizes? It’s really getting frustrating because I think you need to get all the servers working on the same page. Also, another problem that has happened since last maintenance is if you load your dock, your items that are in your dock go all over the place, especially if you feed your pet, kinzpost something, you’ll find items up in the newspaper area, etc and then I get logged out. I can’t even do my jumbleberry fields anymore either because every time I try to put my berry’s in the jar, I get kicked out, every single time. It’s really getting frustrating!!
