Ella McWoof here with a report on what local kids have planned for their dads on Father’s Day on June 17.
EM: Roberta Rabbit, would you care to share with us what you plan to do for your dad on Father’s Day?
Roberta: Sure, Ella. I just love crafting and my mom and dad made me a really cool craft room in our new house. So for Father’s Day I decided to make my dad a paperweight in my new kiln that we got from the Creative Studio theme in the W Shop.
EM: That’s really neat that you’re making your own gift, Roberta! Salley, what do you have planned for the big day?
Salley: Well, the day before Father’s Day I am taking the train to West Kinzville so that I can spend the weekend with my dad! We are going to go and see a baseball game together that day. I can’t wait!
EM: Cool! Molly, any big plans?
Molly: My mom said that we should all take my dad for a picnic, so Millie and I are making everything ourselves and we’re going to walk over to the Caring Valley and have a family picnic there. I’m going to bring my soccer ball so that my dad and I can practice.
EM: That sure sounds like fun! Here is Stoogles. Stoogles, what are you doing for Father’s Day?
Stoogles: My dad and I are going to the arcade together and we are going to play games all day long! And for dinner my mom is taking us all to Le Snout! Chef Gazpacho is having a special night for dad – because Kinzville Sings is here, he thought it would be funny to set up a karaoke machine in Le Snout for the evening!
EM: Really? Maybe I should take my dad to Le Snout on Father’s Day! And how about you, Alex?
Alex: I got my dad a hammock from the W Shop so that he can relax and do nothing at all on Father’s Day. Except my mom says he still has to do the barbeque at dinnertime.
EM: That’s great, Alex! Wow! It seems like there are some pretty lucky dads in Kinzville. So readers, do you have any big plans for your dads on Father’s Day?

What about going for out for dinner or lunch, or bowling, or to the park, or a picnic??
how about making a coupon book for him with things like ‘your choice tv all day’ ‘ill do a chore without complaining’ ‘go out for ice cream’ …. ~tygerkit~

For fathers dad im making a stoy with candy bars as in :we were going to get you a free trip to ORBIT (orbit gum) around the MILKYWAY (milkyway bar) but that didnt seem right.
i got a father’s day card for my dad. it’s really cool. it has a trophy on it with the superman symbol on it. and it has the music from the movie. I signed my name and my brother’s and sister’s name on it
My parents and I are planning to have a surf-and-turf supper (lobster and steak on the BBQ). I usually make Dad a coconut cream pie, one of his favorite desserts, on Father’s Day but this year it looks like we will have to just buy him one from the bakery instead. I also bought him a new t-shirt and a card that came with a refrigerator magnet that says “everything’s better grilled”. lol
Alex’s plan sounds most appealing to me. On fathers day my grandpa and my dad are going to be be here! Fathers galore!

I hope who ever gets to celibrate fathers day on sunday is very lucky my dad has to work on sunday he works on evry holiday. But were going to have fathers day on saturday in sted! -swisselover

Cool ideas, guys! My brother and I are teaming up and going to take my dad mini golfing. We’re also going to treat him to dinner. (*(*dragonfish*)*)
You should make him breakfast in bead and a homemade card. My duster and I usually do that and it works amazingly! Good luck….

I’m giving my dad a card I made. All of my siblings and I are going in on a pollo shirt for my dad! You could try just making him a card _starburst_. I’m sure he’d like it!
This might sounds mean, but just to start my dad’s day, I’m going to prank him with a fake rubber snake, and put it in his bed, and while the snake is in his bed, I’m going to put red food coloring on his arm so that it looks like the snake bit him, and I’m going to pinch him to make it feel like he got bitten. It’ll be so funny. :lol: I’ll then yell “Happy Father’s Day, Daddy!” But for Father’s Day, we’re going out to eat at D&B (Dave & Buster’s) and play games there while we’re at it. And we’re having a bonfire. I’m excited for Father’s Day, because of the prank! :P :lol: ~Chicago Made☠

My dad is going to get some awesome new gear :) from his favorite football team, so we are going to get him a shirt and a new hat. And some other stuff of course. Its really weird cause my parents anniversary is really close to fathers day, the 21st I believe. My mom is going to get him some nice sunglasses :) Do you guys think he’ll like this stuff? Hey it’s Sugar :D We’re gonna have a BBQ & bonfire with my mom, dad, grandma, & grandpa (cuz my grandpa is my mom’s dad :) And i’m getting my dad a broom (he really wanted one……I don’t no y though rofl) ~S<31D!!!!! (Changed my sig again :P
Well my dad “works” on Sunday mornings, (LOL because he is a Pastor) we will probably take him out for lunch.

Not sure. I think we may go to his fave restaurant. But that’s cool, karaoke machine and all. My dad hates barbecues because last time, a spider went in and he knocked over the machine and it was a huge mess. ~Phoenix Wind~
