Love the loom of this theme but was confused as to the scale of items. The wall paper and floor make it look like an outside courtyard, so I put my little house out there, but where would I use the other items that would make sense? I bought a column, and it’s so small it looks silly. I bought 4 mystery boxes and got 4 bookcases. I love the bookcases, but some other items would have been nice, and they are huge compared to the columns and little cottage. The look of this theme is awesome, but so hard to actually make something with it that works. I guess I’ll make another room with different wallpaper and make a haunted library, since I didn’t get anything from the mystery boxes but book shelves. Very disappointing.

I LOVE this wallpaper, but it doesn’t make sense to me to have a bedroom in a courtyard. But I do love the items of the theme.
What I would do is use the wallpaper/flooring in one room, then make an adjacent room with the furniture, and some sort of wallpaper/flooring that would work with it. Make it out like you’re entering the building.
Where is the house in the second picture? Is it available?
I love it too. I went through all of the spots that I could think of in the eStore and couldn’t find it, so maybe it is not currently available. I wish that I knew what it was called so I could search properly. Sorry that I can’t be more help.

highWOLFI purchased 16 boxes and ended up with desks, bookshelves, fountains and wall pieces. I know better. That’s why they are sold this way; so they can make more money. Won’t happen again!

I know how you feel. I have terrible luck with the mystery boxes. It can be very frustrating and the trading room is challenging also.

They are part of the mystery box. *sigh* At least the wallpaper and flooring are available for purchase outright. Isn’t there a pet with a gargoyle PSI?? I will have to look into that further…
I was just scrolling through the news on the estore site and the gargoyle fence is being released on October 13th. Hope this helps!
Bless your heart for sharing this news @Katz1259! I don’t know what it is about gargoyles, but even though many of them are somewhat ugly, and definitely scary (by design!), I still find them fascinating! There is a small one on top of a simple home not far from my church and it’s so out-of-place and whimsical that it always brings a smile to my face.
In the Halloween section of the eStore, I did find two different gargoyles for sale outright. I wish there was a way to see how they look in-room first before purchase. They look like the old style items and have probably been around for quite a while. I may take a chance and pick one up.
