Both my suggestions are references to Victor Hugo’s ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’: For a girl, ‘Esmerowlda’ (after the character, Esmerelda), and for a boy, simply ‘Victor’, after the author. :)

I love the Gargowl! It’s really cute. If a had one, I think I would name it Creaky or Crackly or something like that.
