      Maple trees are tapped in the spring. Look around and you may see blue bags or other containers hanging low on the trees. They gather the sap and boil it down to make syrup.

    I, too, really like this room. The trees are so pretty, and I would love to be seated at one of those picnic tables! And the sugar shacks look like they would be fun, too. Where I live, maple trees are tapped in the spring, to catch their sap as it rises after the winter. It is then boiled to make syrup or, even better – CANDY! Sometimes trees are tapped in the fall, too. All the best! MDIChickadee

  7. Eilish says:

    Right now my Maple moose named Stickylips, sleeps on a spare bed in a storage room. I HAVE to make him his own room!

  8. Eilish says:

    I have the Maple Moose, named Stickylips! He’s sooo sweet I just have to get the rest of the things to complete his maple farm!

  9. Veronica says:

    HUh? I thought maple syrup season was in the winter, and I should know, I’m Canadian! Unless we had snow in March and I can’t remember if it was winter or not… lol…

    • maple syrup geek says:

      maple syrup season always starts in march. Normal during march break. I would know my family makes maple syrup and this time all my dad talks about how well or how horrebal the trees are leaking.

            Cool! But why would a Maple Syrup Season when it’s almost Spring? Sorry, but that just doesn’t feel very right. But this Maple Syrup Season seems cool. The Maple Moose is so adorable, but I just ran out of estore points (I had 30,000 estore points). I wonder when the Snowy Summit Wolf will be in the estore, because I really want one. Okay, I still want Ganz to make Signature Egyptian Mau Cats, and I’m NOT giving up until they make them. ~Chicago Made

            Hey, Chicago Made.

            I’ll help spread the word out for you, if you would like. I know how much you want Ganz to make Signature Egyptian Mau Cats, and I know you’re doing it for SOAD Chick, but I’ll help you. ;) BTW, I think the Snowy Summit Wolf will be in the estore soon. Just wait for it, and maybe It will be in the estore. ~Sadie

          • Chicago Made says:

            @SkrillexCBF56 (Sadie)

            Yeah, you can help spread the word on WKN, if you would like, I guess. ;) I could use some help. SOAD Chick, you better be happy that I’m doing this for you. Well, I’m only doing this for you, and your Egyptian Mau. I hope you’re loving this (Yeah, HOPEFULLY – :| ) So, Sadie, you can spread the word out if you’d like to. ~Chicago Made

          • System Of A Down Chick says:

            What? Wait, so you’re doing this for me and my Egyptian Mau, Netafari, Chicago Made? Thanks. :mrgreen: I hope Ganz will make them! I’ve been on this page all day, waiting for you to comment back, BTW! -SOAD Chick

          • System Of A Down Chick says:

            Okay, Chicago Made, thanks for doing this for me (If you are). I hope Ganz will make Signature Egyptian Mau Cats by July, because my B-Day is in July. I just hope Ganz will make them though. Didn’t Moonstar wanted to help spread the word out for Signature Egyptian Mau Cats? If so, Moonstar, you can spread the word out, if you want. SkrillexCBF56 is going to, and Blackstorm. So, I hope Ganz will make them in July, this year very soon. -SOAD Chick

          I know right! But in Canada its maple syrup season. I remember people will put maple syrup on snow. Its weird but tastes really good. (As you can tell I`m from Canada lol) The Maple Moose is cute :) Isn’t it a candykinz pet?
          ~*Sigs*~

          • Chicago Made says:

            @SignatureBernese

            Oh! So, that’s why Ganz is doing this Maple Syrup Season thing. BTW, it’s cool that you’re from Canada. ;) ~Chicago Made

          • SignatureBernese says:

            Yup :) I wasn’t born here though, Lol. Plus I think your idea of a Signature Egyptian Mau would be so cute. I would buy it but I`m saving up for a Sig. German Shepherd. ($40 more!) :D

      Have u guys been maple sugaring? its so fun! the sap from the tree just tastes like water. the two main ingredients in it r water and sugar. the tree makes sugar as its food and the tree needs water to grow and the trees fod is the sap. well more water then sap. then u take the sap buckets into the stove and it boils the sap and it smells SO GOOD! I am reading miracales on maple hill and our class went on a feild trip to see how maple syrup is made! I also took botany last year! I was in 4th grade then.actually maple sugaring takes warm days and cold night. this season started late.
