just realizing now that I believe this idea was ripped from my pet contest entry in 2023… I was reading recently about how you did not credit a creator for their design and I was wondering if the same thing has happened to me here. This looks very similar to my drawing I made (especially the front view) and a very specific frog species to choose. I’m not even upset I just want to know if it is… been thinking about it for almost a year now but never said anything. I don’t know if anyone from Webkinz will see this but I’ve been a fan for all 20 years so this kind of hurts if it was stolen without any sort of credit.
No, the eStore team decides on pets and then an artist is assigned and the pet is designed based on reference photos of the real animal. They don’t go through contest entries.
