Hey, Itswebkinztime! =) Oh, is MLP gone again? I thought she already got back from her trip a while ago…? Well, either way, thanks for doing the weekly questions for us! ^-^ Let’s see…right now I’m mainly just thinking about a new Webkinz I ordered earlier today, ahah, (I probably won’t post about it until at least next week, though), but I’m also sorta thinking about…evaporation! :P (I know, right? Exciting stuff XD I just got done reading about it in science, so that’s why it’s currently on my mind, heheh) Anyway, I know, right?? I cannot believe it’s already April! This year is really flying by! :o Ah, and I’m getting worried about that, too…Ganz hasn’t made a plush since December, so I’m really starting to fear that they’re abandoning their plush line…I just wish they would tell us something, anything, regarding that, you know? =/ I certainly hope they haven’t stopped making them for good! Hey, everyone! I said I’d try to come on more often, so I thought I might just stop by :) I’ve been spending a lot of time lately developing Winston’s personality, so I might be able to post a bio or something in a few weeks (or maybe sooner or later, I’m not sure when I’ll finish it yet), if that’s okay (especially since I know you just posted one today, Taffy XP so if you want me to wait a bit, I’m totally okay with that (especially since mine definitely won’t be done anytime this week, but more likely sometime next week, since I have a break and, therefore, more time to write)). I apologize in advance for the length, though… I tried to make it shorter than Perry's, but I dunno if I really accomplished that, ahah '^^ I always make these things too long :P
Anyhoo, I'll start posting it below real soon! Hopefully I can get it all done before I start schoolwork this morning. If not, I'll have to post the rest sometime this afternoon, if that's okay:

Name: Starleaf Nyani Brightforest. Gender: Girl. Species: Signature Chimpanzee. Age: 18. Eye Color: Both of Starleaf’s eyes exhibit radiant hues of purple, very similar to that found in an amethyst. They’re quite pretty, especially when they dazzle in the sunlight.
Appearance: Starleaf is a somewhat average-sized signature chimpanzee. She’s a bit on the short side, though, with a height comparable to that of Elizabeth. (For reference, Jiko is about 8 or 9 inches taller than she is) Most of her fur–which is relatively short– is black/very dark brown in color, with the exception of a cream-colored patch on and around her chin. Additionally, she has an unusual (but beautiful) diagonal white streak above her forehead, almost resembling a backslash.
She seldom wears clothing of any kind, but will occasionally put on a bracelet or necklace. Also, Starleaf often carries around a pretty pale blue and purple satchel, in which she stores stuff like pens and notepads….

~2~ … Nicknames: None. (No one ever calls her “Star” or “Starry”, since they’re often applied to my mystic pony, Starleaf– and thus, such dual usage would be confusing)
Personality: It is often said that actions speak louder than words… and for this particular chimpanzee, the saying is more than words of wisdom, but a way of life.
Born in full Starleaf Nyani Brightforest, this gentle gal is a real ray of sunshine! Her life, on the other hand, is kind of a different story…
Starleaf was always known as sweet and caring ‘kinz, graceful in every way possible, with a beautiful voice as smooth as silk. Some believed that, with such amazing vocals, Starleaf would become a singer, a voice actress, or perhaps even a motivational speaker. Even though she never hinted at these things, the sky was still the limit– until one fateful day, when things changed forever. While she still retains her gentleness, her grace, her sweet dispositions, one thing has not remained: her voice….

~3~ … The incident occurred on an uneventful, warm summer afternoon a few years back… she escaped relatively unharmed, but her voice was a different matter. What occurred, only she and her family knows, but what is certain is that it ruined her voice completely; her vocals were damaged, leaving poor Starleaf silent from then onwards.
She can read, write, and understand speech with no problems whatsoever, but can’t get a single word out herself, no matter how hard she tries. (The closest thing she can get out is a soft “-th” sound, which sadly isn’t of much use) It was a depressing time for Starleaf, after it first happened. Being unable to communicate verbally with her friends and family made her feel lonely, sad… and isolated from the rest of the world. For a time, she withdrew herself from sociality, too miserable to even see her pals.
However, being the ambitious primate she is, Starleaf eventually picked herself up, determined to make light of even the darkest situation. She realized that she shouldn’t, and couldn’t, let her damaged vocals dictate the…

~4~ … course of her life– things would only be bad so long as she believed that there was no hope. Happiness cannot thrive in a melancholy mind, and was up to her to change that. Now, three years later, Starleaf is a pretty happy chimpanzee, sweet and friendly as she’s always been. Of course, she misses her voice terribly, willing to do almost anything to get it back, but knows that she can’t let her inability stop her from living life to its fullest.
In terms of personality, Starleaf is somewhat outgoing (she always has been), but not to the extent where she’s annoying or constantly in other people’s faces. She enjoys meeting and befriending new ‘kinz, though it has gotten to be more of a challenge as she now can’t talk. Additionally, as aforementioned, Starleaf is quite the amiable, pleasant gal, always caring about her friends’ needs and taking time to listen to and/or comfort them. She is very agile, graceful, and gentle, too– never harsh with others, but not a total “pushover”, either. Starleaf seems to maintain…

~5~ … a perfect balance in these aspects; a quality well-admired by her pals, and very effective when dealing with other people. She is highly intelligent, and very organized and thoughtful. It is worth noting that she is pretty good at solving problems, as well, and is often sought out by those in need of someone who can mediate, resolve, or give advice on their issues (and that “perfect person” is usually Starleaf).
Her optimism is contagious (but not annoyingly so, unlike some people… *glances at Harper and Pikachu*), and she’s generally willing to give new things a try, whether it be an unfamiliar food, or a destination she hasn’t yet visited. (She may have a bit of an adventurous side to her ;D )
Starleaf’s a very honest gal, never afraid to let people know how she feels about something. She’s also strangely persuasive… and her healthy determination and ambition are undoubtable! Once she puts her heart into something, there’s no stopping her.
However, despite her many good attributes, every ‘kinz has some quirks and negative traits– and Starleaf is no exception…

~6~ … One “flaw” is that Starleaf is a little (okay, extremely) stubborn; once this girl has her mind set on something, good luck trying to change it. She won’t budge for anything! This attribute is particularly “negative” when it comes time to parties and events. Starleaf enjoys planning out little get-togetherness and dinners, but even if problems arise (bad weather, someone’s sick, etc.) she’s extremely hesitant to change things, even when she really should. If she’s set on a time and date, it’s best not to spend your time dissuading her, as she’s bound to go through with it anyway.
Another perceived “flaw” is that Starleaf is, well… kind of easily annoyed by things, especially bad attitudes (and naturally super annoying people). She tries not to let things get to her, and even when they do, her soft smile usually conceals what she really feels inside. However, there are times where her annoyed-ness will mount to the point where there’s no way for her to hide it; in such a case she’ll usually scowl…

~7~ … and find a way out of the situation before said ‘kinz bothers her even further. She’s not necessarily the most patient animal, either.
Though not a personality defect, Starleaf is also kind of self-conscious– a trait she used to never possess until after she lost her voice. She might still be somewhat outgoing, but seeing that she cannot talk, it’s been a lot harder for her to be involved in public situations, where there are a ton of webkinz interacting with one another. With no voice, how can she get anyone’s attention? How would strangers react if they knew she couldn’t speak? It’s pretty overwhelming, and to be quite truthful, rather intimidating. As a result, she’s become a lot more introverted over the past several years, preferring to hang out with close friends or a few strangers/acquaintances as opposed to huge groups of people… especially if she barely knows most of them. Starleaf wishes she were more social, but in her defense, it has been tougher to meet and greet…

~8~ … new ‘kinz since the incident.
To communicate, she generally uses different gestures and motions that are easily understood by most people. Additionally, Starleaf constantly carries around a pen and notepad with her, as it is sometimes easier to write what she wants to say as opposed to motioning. She is currently learning some sign language, too, but unfortunately, neither she or her friends know how to interpret much of it.
In terms of other things, Starleaf is a fairly outdoorsy gal, and enjoys taking walks through natural scenery, as well as climbing trees (which she’s very good at). She dreams of traveling to places far and wide, even having a “wish list” of destinations she’d love to visit. She really enjoys experiencing new things, especially if it’s a site or wonder! Furthermore, Starleaf is quite the avid reader, interested in just about any novel so long as it’s intriguing, exciting, and well-written. She’s pretty good at analyzing literature…

~9~ … as well, often writing short analytical papers on her books just for fun after she’s done reading them. She’ll even put helpful little post-it notes with information on them in the library books she borrows, but unfortunately, some people really don’t seem to appreciate Starleaf’s work, throwing said notes away as if they were a piece of trash -._-. (Little do they know her notes are quite helpful, in the long run!) Starleaf is a good dancer, too, thanks to her agility.
She hopes to become a travel writer, someday, or perhaps an explorer or gem hunter (like her hero, Arte Fact).
As far as friends and family go, Starleaf currently lives in a home with Pear Brightforest and Birch Brightforest, her mother and father, respectively. (Note: I haven’t yet determined if she has any siblings) They’re both very loving, but also extremely protective of Starleaf.
She has several grandparents and aunts and uncles, too, as well as boy cousin named Banana Spilt, of whom she was very close to as a child…

~10~ … Starleaf used to have a fairly big friends-circle, but unfortunately, the large number of friendships she had prior to the incident have since dwindled. The same people who were always so eager to talk to her beforehand seemed a little more wary of Starleaf afterwards. Perhaps they felt a little awkward interacting with someone who couldn’t speak, or kinda forgot about Starleaf during her time of solitude. Either way, many of Starleaf’s previous friends left her behind once she reemerged into the social scene, leaving the poor gal even lonelier and sadder than before. However, it is during this dark time that she also found a plethora of new pals, including a very unlikely friend: Jiko the signature gorilla. The serious chef never had too many friends due to his curt and short-tempered nature, but strangely enough, he and the gentle Starleaf became best buddies upon first meeting. They seem to have a mutual understanding of one another, and have taught each other important things. For instance, Starleaf has encouraged Jiko to become less negative and more humorous…

~11~ … (though she’s not afraid to let Shawn know when he goes too far with a joke), while Jiko has shown Starleaf new ways to meet people, as well as how to better communicate her feelings. Yes sir, they really are the best of pals!
Other friends include Ellie (the two have a shared love of adventure and mangoes), Pebble Heart, Perry, Shawn (when he’s not constantly teasing Jiko, that is), Gray Wing (male silversoft cat), Lily (the two are pen pals), and surprisingly, Pikachu. Though he can be annoying, Starleaf things he’s just the cutest, sweetest little thing, so she doesn’t mind him much. She also stays in contact with Hermione, the ever-so-studious persian cat (Starleaf used to be a slightly older mentor to her when they were kids).
All in all, Starleaf is a wonderful gal, and though she may not be able to speak anymore, she’s still capable of being a great friend.
Favorite Color: Lavender, though she loves most other shades of purple. Starleaf also thinks that magenta is a cool color, too…

~12~ … Least Favorite Color: She doesn’t have a definite least favorite, but admits that she isn’t a huge fan of– what she labels as– cheerless, “boring” hues (like beige)
Favorite Food: Macaroni and cheese, all the way! Starleaf is as passionate about macaroni as Jeffery is about bread. She likes it. She loves it. She lives for it.
She adores most kinds, especially Jiko’s signature macaroni dish, which he is always more than happy to make for her.
Likes: Mangoes, traveling, reading, the beach, topical plants (including palm trees), note-taking, postcards (she loves collecting them), Jiko, baking, writing, music (particularly instrumental tunes; she loves lyrical music, too, but is always a little sad when she hears it, as she knows she’s unable to sing along), fuzzy slippers, guava fruit, plot twists in books or movies, seashells, the so-called “oxford comma” (basically, it’s the practice of putting a comma before the word “and” when you’re listing items. I do that myself, mostly out of habit (I’ve always written that way), and ’cause I think it’s just a little more concise…

~13~ … I guess? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So, instead of writing “Clint went camping with his two best friends, Loki and Bucky” [which unintentionally implies that Loki and Bucky are Clint's best friends, which they are most definitely not XD ] I’d put “Clint went camping with his two best friends, Loki, and Bucky” :) ), hanging out with friends, gemstones (in particular rubies and amethyst!), Arte Fact I bet she has a giant Arte poster and an Arte bobble head in her room, scenic routes.
Dislikes: People who chew their gum really loud, constantly negative Webkinz, being annoyed, cabbage, when other ‘kinz use texting acronyms like “lol”, “btw”, “idk”, and so forth in their everyday speech (it really annoys her), awkward situations, poorly-written books, very cold weather, scorpions, scarves (she has nothing against other people wearing them, but isn’t a fan of them herself), caramel.

…I really like that! ;) I always try to give my Webkinz (or at least my Signatures) last names, nowadays, but I really need to work on middle names more, eheh :P Anyway, “Starleaf Nyani Brightforest” is a really beautiful sounding and unique name! ^u^ Just curious, did you come up with “Brightforest” yourself, or did you get it from something? (Starleaf is named after a book character, right…? I thought you said that before, but I can’t exactly remember, oops XP ) Wow, she has purple eyes?? That’s definitely not an eye color that you see everyday! XD That sounds so pretty, though ^-^ I enjoyed reading about her appearance, as well! Whoa, she and Jiko do have quite a big difference in height, don’t they? :o I think it’s kinda cute that she’s pretty short, though, hehe ;) Additionally, that diagonal white streak above her forehead sounds quiet interesting! I like how she’ll wear necklaces and bracelets sometimes, too; I imagine those would look quite pretty on her! ^-^ Have you considered ever getting a necklace and/or bracelet for her plush? :) Aw, it’s too bad that she doesn’t have any nicknames, though… (I dunno why, but I really love nicknames for characters, not so much so that other characters can use them, but so that I can use them XD ) I get why people don’t call her “Star” or “Starry”, though, if that’s already used on Starlight…I can imagine that’d be confusing!

Honestly I don’t think I could live without my voice…I mean I talk way too much :P Ah, I feel so bad for Starleaf, though! Just curious, do you know exactly how she lost her voice, and just decided not to include it, or did you not figure out an exact reason? (That’s fine if you didn’t; I know it can take time to come up with backstory stuff like that!) Either way, it sounds like quite a tragic event…Gosh, I feel so bad for how depressed she was, afterwards, too =’( Do you know how old she was, when that happened?
Aww, it’s great, though, that she didn’t allow her inability to speak to dictate her life! No life-changing experience like that has ever happened to me before, but I can imagine it would take a lot of positivity and courage to recover from it…I really admire her ability to get through it and not let her disability hold her back! =)

She has a lot of really nice traits! ^-^ First things first, it’s neat that she’s pretty outgoing, but not to the extent of being annoying or anything. … I really like how she’s never harsh with anyone, but also isn’t a “pushover”, as you said…she really does seem perfectly balanced in those aspects! ;) Thanos would approve XD I like how she’s intelligent and good at solving problems, as well! I can definitely imagine she’d be a good person to call on if her friends are in need of some advice! =] I admire her willingness to try new things, too! Aww, it’s so sad that lots of her friends abandoned her after she lost her voice! Hi, Taffy! Goodness gracious. I can’t believe I’ve taken so long to reply to this, but I need to get my lazy self in gear. XD Anyway, I’ll start with her eyes. It’s so cool how she has purple eyes! =o Is this your first character with eyes colored purple? It’s also interesting how she has a white streak on her forehead! Kind of like Anna (from Frozen) or something haha ;P I actually knew a guy with a white streak of hair sort of like that. I think it was a sort of birthmark. Her little bag for pens and paper is cute too. That definitely makes sense if you can’t speak! Aw gosh, but it’s so awful how she lost her beautiful voice! I’m sure that must have really broken her when she loved to sing, too. It’s so sad D= I can understand how she would become lonely and depressed.. but I’m glad she got out of that and realized she shouldn’t let her life go on like that. She was only making herself feel worse by secluding and pitying herself. Maybe that sounds harsh, but it’s true! ….

Oh yeah, Tara Strong did voice him… I didn’t realize that till years later after I stopped watching the show which was around season 7 or 8… They added the fairy dog Sparky in season 9, and that new girl Chloe in season 10. And, ugh I dislike them, they are HORRIBLE additions. I don’t mind Poof that much, he’s the only good addition. In my opinion, they should of ended it after season 6 with the Wishology special.
