~1~ “Kailie, there you are!” exclaimed Shannon, giving Kailie a fist bump back because she’s also cool. “What took you so long to get here?” Shannon and Alexandrite handed their tickets over to Fluffybelle and followed Kailie, Charlotte, Polly, and Muffin inside. Shannon glanced around the mansion at the Halloween decorations. “Wow, nice place!” she remarked as she wandered around, cradling Plum the pan like a baby. Alexandrite, meanwhile, drifted over to the snack table, sadly munching on a werewolf cookie that she wished was a Brett cookie instead. “COME ONNN LET’S GOOOOO” Shannon yelled suddenly, making Alex jump and drop her cookie as Shannon impatiently dragged her over to the haunted house part of the mansion. “I didn’t come here to eat food! Are you guys ready to go in yet?” She glanced eagerly at Kailie and Polly. Just then, Travis the German shepherd suddenly ran inside and up to everyone gathered by the entrance to the haunted house. “HEY GUYS—“ he exclaimed, “I hope I’m not too—“ “AHH!” Shannon turned around suddenly, startled, and hit Travis with her pan. …Unfortunately I don’t really think they’ll make Classic plush again, since they have the Next line of plush pets now, but I guess anything is possible! However, the Next plushes come with two codes, one for Next and one for Classic, so you can still have the Next plushes on your Classic Webkinz account, which is nice!

~2~ … the Trailie Tortellini yet??” Shannon asked, her tail waving anxiously. “No,” was the sad reply. “I wanted to get the Bretties out first!!” “Bretties?” “Yeah, brownies, but with Brett’s face on it!!” Shannon blinked. “Blondies…?” “Whatever.. it’s freezing outside!! Can you believe it’s snowing in OCTOBER?? Again??” “Yeah, I ca–” Shannon stopped and heard the other Webkinz. “Oh hey, we’ve been here for awhile. Just waiting for our other friend. OOH, I love this song!!” Shannon starting to dance with Plum to Scaredy Cat. “I hope Kailie arrives here soon!” Alex said hopefully. She smiled at the other pets and shivered as a snowflake landed on her nose.

Sorry I’m so late to the party!!) ~1~ Shannon the Clover Cat was pacing back and forth waiting for her friends. “Ughhh, wheeeeeeeeeeeere aaaaaaaare theeeeey?” she muttered, tapping Plum the Pan. (Plum was her precious pan whom she carried with her everywhere she went as if he was her baby) The clover cat stared at her emerald high heels as she was pacing when she heard a voice. “HI. I’M.. *gasp* HERE… *gasp*” It was Alexandrite, the Rockerz Cat! Shannon looked up. “Alex!! There you are!! “Sorry I’m late!!” the pink cat said, running up to Shannon. “I needed to finish up some stuff at The Pearl!! We have a new dessert, it’s called a “Brette!!” It’s like a crepe, but with Brett’s face on it!!” the cat exclaimed & beamed proudly. She owned her own restaurant, The Pearl, & was so proud of her menu options based off of her husband, Brett, who was a Golden Shepherd & she was obsessed with any merchandise of his. “Lightning!” yelled Shannon. “Ugh, what are you doing here?”
“Oh, there you are, PMJ!” he said, panting and clearly out of breath. “T—turkey told me to come here and a-ask you…whether…Lysol is edible…and where we can find…a dirty mop, because we need one for your brother when he arrives?”

(AH hey guys, I am SO sorry for holding the roleplay up for so long!! DX I feel awful about it, ahah, and hope to reply a lot faster in the future! I know my reply could never be worth the ridiculously long wait, but at least the roleplay can move forward now..? Sorry again!! =( )~6~ …at Olive Garden, as there was some mysterious stuff going on. Shannon was not quite sure what was in store for her at the restaurant, but if Kailie had wanted her to come, it must be important, she thought. She was already late due to her superstitious friend Felix yelling at her for opening her umbrella before she got out the door, and she hoped that she had not missed out on anything exciting! Shaking out her umbrella, Shannon stepped through the front door and looked around for Kailie or anyone else she knew, but she didn’t recognize anyone—well, aside from Peppermint Mocha Joy… Shannon didn’t much like the Holly Fox, but she decided to go approach her and ask for a table, deciding that she would get some food while she waited for her friend to arrive. She couldn’t wait to see the look on PMJ’s when Kailie showed up at her restaurant! But before she could even say “hello”, a cougar suddenly came rushing past, knocking into Shannon and getting both her and PMJ all wet, as he was soaking wet himself and had just come in…
~5~ … I’m sure it won’t take long. It will probably be another one of those extremely obvious cases that even those amateur police could solve…” He sighed. “My talents are wasted. And yet, there are no other mysteries to solve, and I must have some sort of case to work on, because I’m not spending another day playing Operation with my useless brother Mycroft.” Sherlock rolled his eyes, just as a waitress was walking by.
“Yes, excuse me, miss, I believe there’s been a mix up. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, not the tulip pony distraction, so could you kindly take her back to the kitchens, please?” he asked with a wry smile, calmly taking a sip of his tea.

Shannon hurried through the parking lot of Olive Garden as rain pelted down all around her. She was not in a hurry so much because of the rain, which she didn’t mind too much, but rather because she was eager to get inside and meet the person who had invited her. For, she had gotten a text from her best friend Kailie asking to meet her…~4~ … He was in the middle of observing an arctic fox that he thought was acting quite suspiciously, as she had apparently just been kicked out of the kitchen by an angry chef—why was she trying to go in the kitchen in the first place??—when all of a sudden a tulip pony walked up to his table asking about a menu and proceed to snatch his newspaper right out of his hands! Sherlock glared at the stranger.
“Give that back!” he demanded. “There’s a coupon in there for 50% off chicken noodle soup!”
But before he could take his newspaper back, the pony, he noticed, gave him a strange look and not only handed him back his newspaper, but proceeded to sit right next to him, to Sherlock’s displeasure.
“My name is Sherlock Howlmes,” he said, looking at his newspaper and not even glancing at the pony, “and I’m busy, so go away.”
He looked across the table at Nancy Drew, trying very hard to ignore the pony next to him.
“No, I plan on staying here until I solve this mystery. …~3~ …while listening to his favorite polka music. The music was so loud that he almost didn’t hear what Turquoise, or “Turkey”, the clouded leopard he worked with, had asked him.
“What?” he yelled over the music. “You want me to run all the way to Olive Garden to ask Peppermint Mocha Joy a question? But it’s raining! Ughhh, fiiiine…”
Normally Lightning would have refused, but he wanted to impress Turkey, plus, he was hoping that PMJ would give him some free food at Olive Garden, and he could never say no to free, unlimited breadsticks…
“I’ll be back soon!” said Lightning. Turning off his music and grabbing an umbrella, he headed out the door. As he left, he could hear classic orchestra music playing as Turkey continued working. “Classical music,” he muttered, “SO boring…”

Sherlock Howlmes the basset hound was sitting at a table at Olive Garden with his friend Nancy Drew. He was wearing a long trench coat and his favorite hat, and half-listening to Nancy’s story as he peered over the top of the newspaper he was holding, scanning Olive Garden and watching for anything suspicious. …~2~ …I dunno.”
He shrugged and took a bite of his donut. Suddenly the door opened and Kailie came in, asking them about an email that she had forwarded to them.
“Oh, I just saw that,” said Travis. “It does sound like some odd things are going on over at Olive Garden. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it. Oh! I don’t mind going!” he said quickly. “I don’t have anything going on at the moment.” He hastily gathered up all the papers he had been looking at and shoved them back into a drawer. “I’m totally free!”
“Yeah, I don’t have anything at the moment either, so perhaps I’ll come along?” James added. “And it’s okay, I actually like Olive Garden! Lucky and I go there a lot.”
James grabbed another donut for the road and headed out the door, and Travis followed him, smiling at Kailie as he passed.

“Wow, this sink is really dirty… Who’s been in charge of cleaning this thing?” Lightning said to himself. He was at PMJ’s hotel, where he had a job cleaning bathrooms, attempting to clean one of the sinks…~1~ Rain pattered against the window as Travis looked over some papers in the office of his boss, Ace. It had been storming all morning, with frequent lightning flashing across the gray skies and thunder regularly shattering the silence of the room. Travis wasn’t a huge fan of storms, but he was thankful, at least, that he didn’t have to be out in it. Also in the room was Travis’s best friend and coworker, James, who was eating a glazed donut while helping Travis with the papers he was looking at.
“It happened again the other day, though,” James was saying to Travis as they worked. “I had five donuts left in the box before I went to work in the morning, and when I got home that evening, there were only TWO left! And Lucky couldn’t have eaten them, because she didn’t get home until after I did.”
“Hmm, sounds like you have a donut mystery on your hands,” said Travis. “Well, you know it couldn’t have been me.”
“Yeah, you’re the last person to ever be suspected of donut theft,” laughed James. “Maybe I just miscounted or something, or accidentally threw some away..AAH hey Alex!! Yay, you’re back! =D It’s so good to see you here again!! We’ve all really missed you! <3 I hope you've been doing okay. HAHA yep I know how much you like Skillet XD Hmm, I don't think I've heard "Back From the Dead" from them, I'll have to listen to it ;) AH right! :o I can't believe Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are all so soon ,XD It feels like summer just started, and now it's almost over already! This year has just been going by WAY too fast, but I do like fall and I'm ready for it to get cooler outside, so I guess I won't complain too much ,XD OH and yeah, sorry I haven't replied to the roleplay yet!! =( I started typing up my reply a long time ago, but I guess I kind of forgot about it when no one was active on here '^^ I'll try to finish that up soon, though! Oh, and and okay, so should I just post my response under Itswebkinztime's replies, then? Anyway, it's great to hear from you again, pal, and I hope to talk to you soon!! <3
Heya, Alex! I just wanted to say thanks a bunch for starting off the roleplay!! =D I am so excited to participate in it, hehe! XD It’ll be so much fun to roleplay with everyone on here again! ^-^ I read your first reply earlier, and I really loved it!! :D You did a great job writing it, and it was very entertaining to read, hehe! ;) I loved Kailie’s part and the reference to her screaming with an umbrella, pfft, (I can’t wait for that to actually happen XD), and I also love how Monrose thinks Olive Garden sounds like it’s a vegetarian place XD Now that I think about it, though, the name DOES make it sound that way XD I’m sure Monrose is going to be disappointed when she actually sees the menu :P But yeah, I loved the start of the roleplay and can’t wait to reply once it’s my turn! :D Just to make sure I’m getting it right, should I have Shannon, Lightning, and Sherlock receive the text from Kailie and show up at Olive Garden, and have James and Travis go there with Kailie?
