Checkers

You can pick up a Checkers game in the Fun Stuff section of the W Shop or  by challenging a friend in the Clubhouse Games Room or the Tournament Arena. Your Webkinz’s checker pieces are on the yellow squares and move up from the bottom. Pieces move diagonally, to the next open square, one square at a time. Jumps can be made when player’s pieces are opposite one another with open squares behind them, all in a diagonal line. When a Player’s piece is “jumped”, that piece is removed from the board. Multiple jumps can be made on the same sequence as long as there are alternating opposing pieces and free spaces behind them, all in a diagonal line. If a player makes it to the last row of the opposing player’s side, their piece is “Kinged”, enabling them to move both forward and backwards! The last player with their checkers on the board, wins!
