I have a question. If you don’t purchase the plush rainbow pet, at the end of the two week window for buying it, do they take away the virtual one, or do you still get to keep that one? Thank you for answering!

It cannot be purchased without unlocking it. You have a chance of unlocking it when you combine sparks in the Adoption Center — if you create a Rainbow Retriever or Rainbow Unicorn baby, you have the option of purchasing the plush

Using a Golden Retriever only increases your odds — it does not guarantee you’ll get a Rainbow Retriever, even if you use two Golden Retrievers. All pets have a chance to produce a Rainbow Retriever or Rainbow Unicorn.

All pets have a chance to make one of these special pets. There’s just a better chance with a Golden Retriever, whether you purchased it as a virtual or a plush
Sally, just grew the rainbow unicorn to kid. My friend reported that the horn is not showing in game. When she looked at the features it does not show horn. Hope this can be fixed. Thank You. Dragster1963

How will we know when they’ve all been sold?
I do not like the tip sequins. I like to sleep with them but the sequins are to ruff.
Since these pets can come from any two pet sparks, when they grow up and have sparks of their own, is the baby they make going to be a baby from any of the available pets? Because if they only make themselves as of this morning two players already have a lock on the rest of the dogs. According to the “New Baby Showcase” one player already has two of them, and another player has four. If the baby from these two special ones isn’t something different, then anyone with two or more of these special pets can just keep using the sparks from these pets to keep making these special babies until they’ve obtain all of the remaining ones.
I would assume that the limited edition plushies are limited to only one per account, but I’m by no means sure of that. After all, you know what they say happens when you assume. I’d REALLY like some confirmation. Like, REALLY, REALLY like it. Please? Now, Ganz? Sally, anybody? Now?
They are not limited to one per account.

To set my mind at ease, please tell me: what’s to stop a person from buying many pets and breeding a lot of Rainbow Retrievers and Rainbow Unicorns, buying many limited edition plushes, and them selling them to other Webkinz players on sites like Ebay for a huge upcharge?
Nothing prevented people from buying the original plush and doing the same. We have no control over the secondary market.
Bear in mind that there is no guarantee that combining the sparks of two rainbow pets will result in another rainbow pet. The odds may improve, but it will never be 100%. NOTE: Rainbow Pets do not come with Sparks

Sally, you said that combining the sparks of rainbow pets increases the odds but doesn’t guarantee another rainbow pet. This makes it sound like the rainbow pets are supposed to have sparks. I did manage to get a rainbow retriever, and it grew into an adult, but didn’t get any sparks. It shows in the spark machine, but it’s in with the animals that don’t have any sparks left, and doesn’t have a number with sparks indicating how many sparks are left, and when I click on it, it doesn’t move to the cushion that the parents sit on like the animals that still have sparks do. Please help. Thank you!
Sally, your response up above this comment on December 30 2020 at 9:35 am sounds like the Rainbow pets do have sparks; but I just got a reply back from customer service through e-mail, and they say that the rainbow and any future “surprise” pets don’t get sparks.

Wow! How lucky! I wish you could purchase the rainbow unicorn though. It reminds me so much of the Pink Pony, which was my first Webkinz. That’s the reason I haven’t started playing the new game. There’s nothing that looks like or is the pink pony.
