Submitted by: gra with Buddie What you need: 1 cup softened butter 1 ½ cup powdered sugar 1 egg 2 tablespoons vanilla 2 ¾ cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cream of tarter ¼ teaspoon salt What you do: 1. Mix butter and powdered sugar until creamy.2. Add the egg and the vanilla.3. Stir in the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.4. Form the dough into a bone shape5. Bake at 350 until golden brown. What you need for the Icing: 1 ½ cup powdered sugar 1 tablespoon Milk ¼ cup light corn syrup Paste food coloring What you do for the Icing: 1. Crafty Critterz: Peppermint Twists
Submitted by: Ges with Val What you need: 1 Egg 3/4 cup all purpose flour 4 tablespoons of butter (softened) 6 crushed peppermint candies 1/8 cup sugar Parchment paper What you do: 1. Mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl. 2. Grab a small part of the batter and divide into 2 balls. 3. Take one ball and roll it into a snake and do the same with the other ball. 4. Lay down both “snakes” beside each other on parchment paper and make an X with the snakes and then cross the ends. 5.
