Room Design Contest – Flowers Everywhere!
We are pleased to announce the latest addition to our eStore family of virtual pets, the Blossom Fish! To help welcome this pretty piscine pal, we’re running another room design contest. Five rooms will be selected, and the winners will each receive an eStore exclusive Blossom Fish virtual pet and 500 KinzCash! Sample Flower-inspired room We’re looking for rooms that feature flowers — they can be outdoor, underwater or indoor rooms of any size. All of the decorations and furniture in the room MUST be from the W Shop — no pet specific items, no exclusives, no Curio Shop items, no eStore items. This contest opens on Saturday, January 3rd at 12:00am EST and closes on Sunday, January 4th at 11:59pm EST. Blossom Fish The Blossom Fish is our first eStore exclusive fish and will unlock underwater rooms when you adopt it. If it’s within your first 10 adoptions, you will receive a free underwater room. Gem Hunt
The Gem Hunt is an activity that you can do once a day — you can find the Gem Hunt in the Curio Shop. Pick a mine to search and then pick up to three rocks to open. If you find a gem, you’ll be returned to the Curio Shop to talk to Arte. Arte will make you an offer — you can either sell your gem or keep it for your collection. If you collect one of each of the 30 gems, you can trade your collection in for a Crown of Wonder! You can also see your collection in your room — just pick up a Gem Hunt Jewel Box from the Storage section of the W Shop and you can view your collection any time!
Daily KinzCare
It’s the start of a new week — have you done your Daily KinzCare yet? When you push the “I LOVE MY WEBKINZ” button, you show your pets that you care… and you get some free food and KinzCash! Each day that you visit increases the amount of KinzCash you are awarded. If you visit all 7 days in the same week, you will be entered in a random draw to win an Exclusive Item! So go on… tell us you love your Webkinz each and every day!
Keeping your pets healthy
What do you do if your pets are feeling under the weather? There are a few ways that you can help make your pet healthier. 1.) Feed your pet healthy foods, like fruits and vegetables 2.) Give your pet a vitamin 3.) Give your pet a bath 4.) Brush your pet’s teeth 5.) Exercise your pet — in the pool, on the trampoline or on the treadmill 6.) Take your pet to the Spa You can buy healthy food in the W Shop, as well as vitamins. You can bathe your pet in any bathtub, and look for bathroom sinks to brush their teeth in. If you don’t want to buy your own exercise equipment, you can use the trampolines and treadmills in the Exercise Room in the Clubhouse. You can find the Spa at the Travel Agency — it can boost the Health (and Happiness and Hunger) for ALL of your pets at the same time. If your pet is really sick and has a green snout, you must take it to Dr. Quack to get better. Otherwise, just a little TLC will have your pet healthy again!
Pampering your pets
Did you know that you can boost the Health, Hunger and Happiness of ALL of your pets at the same time? Just visit the Travel Agency and send your pets to the Spa. It’s the fastest way to pamper all of your pets. Just remember — if even one of your pets is sick, you won’t be able to send any of them to the spa. If you’ve got a sick pet, be sure to visit Dr. Quack first!
Webkinz Blue Whale
Another Webkinz Newz exclusive — high resolution images of the item and food that come with one of our upcoming pets, the Webkinz Blue Whale! This sea-faring mammal will be in stores by February. Everyone that entered the Charity Giveaway contest should have received their Feature Codes now — have fun decorating your medieval room with the tapestry! Once again, we’d like to thank everyone for their participation. Your suggestions will influence what programs Webkinz Foundation supports in the new year. We’re still busy judging the Top 10 Questions and the Spirit of Giving contests — we got so many wonderful entries and we want to make sure that we review every single one before making a decision.
