Plumpy’s Office

Plumpy decided to give us a peek into her home office. As you can see, she shares it with her best friend, Wiggles. Wiggles is an interior designer and an artist, so he’s always working at his drawing table. Plumpy prefers the simplicity of her old-fashioned blue desk. “Our office is very peaceful,” Plumpy told us. “My favorite thing in the office? The jam-packed bookshelf, of course!” If you’re wondering where Plumpy’s writing awards are, wonder no more! Plumpy keeps them at her office at work.

Interview with the Creative Director

What was your favorite addition to the site in 2010? While the addition of Kinzville and MAZIN’ Hamsters were definitely the biggest additions to Webkinz World this year, my favorite addition was redoing the Webkinz Stadium. The original Stadium didn’t live up to expectations and was missing key features like showing all of the pets in the competitions wearing their actual outfits. We fixed this, simplified signing up, added the Quick Events and finally got the running races out. I’m also really happy about the change to the Daily Kinzcare. It was a tiny change but it’s completely breathed new life into this classic feature. What is the most exciting thing you’ll be adding in 2011? 2011 won’t be about adding, it’ll be about making what we have better than ever! During our Webkinz Day Twitter Party (which was crazy fun) I said that we’d be working on adding new features to the room – including the ability to move and remove doors. Well, that feature will be coming in 2011, along with a bunch of new room features that you won’t expect. Does this mean you won’t see anything new? Of course not. We’ve got a whole year’s worth … Read more

Resolutions

It’s a new year, so you know what that means – New Year’s Resolutions! Let’s find out what some of Webkinz World’s residents resolve to do this year: Fred Rover: I resolve to continue being the AWESOME sportscaster you know and love. I also resolve to sign more pictures of myself for my adoring fans. Plumpy: I resolve to stop eating so much chocolate. It’s not going to be easy. I love chocolate. More than ice cream. More than Stubbly Grass Nibbles. Maybe just one piece a day. Or two. Or maybe I’ll just start using my treadmill more often. PJ Collie: I resolve to put together some fabulous new outfits this year – I’ve got some GREAT ideas in mind. Be prepared to be amazed! Dex Dangerous: I resolve to keep the moon safe from those dastardly Lugbotz! It’s not an easy job, but I’m up to it! Lunar Lugbotz: We resolve to continue trying to destroy the moon! Chef Gazpacho: I resolve to make more delicioso recipes that would make my mama cry tears of happiness! What are your resolutions, Webkinz fans?
