Introducing Webkinz Signature Endangered Pets!
This year, we’re expanding on the “Signature” series with a brand new line of pets called the “Signature Endangered” line! Signature Endangered pets are large and soft, and adopting one of these pets rewards a special piece of furniture from a Signature Endangered room theme, a Wish Token, and a Sanctuary Gift Pack that includes an Endangered-exclusive Sanctuary wallpaper and flooring. Signature Endangered pets will be drawn from the pool of endangered animals in the world, which include some of the world’s most breath-taking creatures. Kicking off the new Signature Endangered Line is the beautiful Bengal Tiger! One of the most elusive and rare creatures in all of Webkinz World, the Signature Endangered Bengal Tiger is shy but ready to warm up to you if you care for it. Your love will be rewarded in turn, as this timid tiger comes with a Wild Game Gourmet BBQ, Stealthy Steak Tatar, and the Dry Forest Sanctuary Gift Pack. Winterfest Comes To Webkinz World This Weekend!
Looking for a way to beat the Winter blues? Look no further than the upcoming Winterfest event! Winterfest, our annual Webkinz World winter celebration, is coming this weekend! From Saturday, January 23 until Friday, January 29, you’ll be able to take part in a bunch of fun Winterfest activities taking place within Webkinz World, on the Ganz eStore, and here on Webkinz Newz! Here’s a taste of what’s to come: Snow is falling in Webkinz World! Catch a snowflake by clicking on it, and you’ll get one of three wonderful, winter-warming rewards! Tune into Webkinz Newz for our Winterfest contest, where you can win an awesome Winter-related item! Contest details will be coming this Thursday. Coming Soon: New Zumbuddies!
There are many beautiful areas of Webkinz World, but perhaps no one place is as pretty as Zumwhere. High in the clouds, the land of Zums is a magical place to explore, and the Zumbuddies plush are some of the cutest around. That’s why we’re so excited to announce a brand new set of Zumbuddies for the new year. You can visit Zumwhere to snap pictures of Zums to gain KinzCash and special prizes. Adopt Zumbuddy from the physical plushie, and you’ll receive access to My Zumwhere with a digital version of your Zum complete with its own room and items, a bundle of Zummies to spend in the Z shop, and a Zumbuddy which follows around your Webkinz pets. Each Zum has a different personality, and as you adopt more, they will begin to interact with and befriend one another! The new set of Zumbuddies includes Zoro, a Zippy Zum; Zami, a Bratty Zum; Zype, a Tricky Zum; Zane, a Lazy Zum; Zuzu, a Giggly Zum; and Zip, a Peeking Zum. January’s Birthstone Pet: Garnet Rover
Red is one of the strongest colors of the Christmas season, and we’ll be seeing more of it this coming January with the new Birthstone Pet, the Garnet Rover. Delightfully red with a gentle smile and a big heart, you’ll simply fall head over heels with this vibrant pooch! The Garnet Rover comes with a Birthstone Snowcone and a Garnet Gift Box which includes a Garnet Desk, Garnet Desk Chair, and a Garnet Poster. As with our other Birthstone pets, the Garnet Rover will be available every day on the Ganz eStore in the month of January, from the 1st until the 31st. No game of Red Rover will be complete without one!

Soft to the touch and happy to hop into your arms, the Signature Dutch Bunny is as much fun to hold as it is to play with. You’ll have to mind your vegetables around this one, though, as it loves to hop about its Tulip Garden in search of carrots for some breakfast Boerenkoleslaw. Watch out for the Signature Dutch Bunny, along with the Old English Sheepdog, Tree Kangaroo, and the Beaver, in February 2010!

The Old English Sheepdog is a refined rascal who is always ready to go for a ride in its dashing Double Decker bus. Its loves to feel its shaggy white coat rustling in the wind while wheeling around Webkinz World. The Old Sheepdog comes with a Sheepherders’ Pie and a Double Decker Bus. Watch out for the Old English Sheepdog, along with the Tree Kangaroo and the Beaver, in February 2010!

You’ll want to jump at the chance to adopt the new Tree Kangaroo. Boisterously bouncing about, this mirthful marsupial is always happy to hop its way around Webkinz World. The Tree Kangaroo comes with a Tropical Fruit Flan and a Remote Rainforest, as teased by the Creative Director on our Twitter account. Few pets make a better buddy than a Beaver. The Beaver braves even the coldest climates as he uses his talented tail and teeth to work wood into cool creations like its Beaver Lodge Bed. The Beaver comes with a Barkberry Smoothie and a Beaver Lodge Bed. Watch out for the Beaver in February 2010!
January’s Caring Valley Tree: Party Palm
Even in the cold of winter, trees continue to bloom in the Caring Valley. Starting off the new year of growth is the Party Palm, January’s featured Enchanted Tree! You’ll be able to customize the Party Palm when you unlock it by selecting your favorite treetop, trunk and base. The image below shows all of the possible options: pick the ones you like best and then show off your new tree in your yard! How do you get one of these party-prepped Palm trees? Simply enter the Feature Code attached to any of our Caring Valley pets during the month of January and then plant the four saplings in The Caring Valley. When you plant a tree, you’re letting us know which charity you’d like to support!
Sock Monkey
There’s nothing quite as funky as a classic Sock Monkey! With a goofy personality that is sure to make you laugh, this monkey loves playing the part of the clown. If you want to put a smile on your monkey’s friendly face, just feed it a Copabanana Split or two. Coming to the Ganz eStore soon!
