I am feeling really frustrated with this release. I was really excited to get some new Webkinz and really wanted the meerkat and Cockapoo (would have settled for some of the others, but not all of them). And in all honesty I was not really interested in any of them until you started showing how the pets looks in the games and I feel in love with a few. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any of the ones I want and have only found two of one of the dogs, one zebra, and one chihuahua. And I really did not like those ones and do not want to spend my money on that.
I have a a few frustrations with all of this:
1. I live 10 minutes via freeway from the biggest city in my state and the only locations that had webkinz around me were about 5 places that were 30-40 minutes away from me and 2 that we 60+ minutes away from me.
2. These were released on Wednesday and due to the store hours, my work schedule, my location in relation to the stores, and road construction causing back ups I was unable to go during the week to look for them and had to wait until today and I was only able to find 4 (all the rest were sold out).
3. One of the stores I went to today had 60 webkinz but all but 2 of them were pre-ordered. I did not even know I had to check with stores to see if they were allowing pre-orders because the webkinz site made it sound like they were only available in stores and we could only get them physically in the store. (This is kind of my error though and I just wish I would have thought to check if you could pre-order them).
4. 3 out of the 5 locations are out of business and are not a business anymore, so I am unsure why Webkinz stated that they are having webkinz at the store.
I am really disappointed right now because I spent hours driving around and waiting in traffic and I really wanted one of the ones that I fell in love with.
I just called the only store listed in our area and they didn’t know anything about these pets. I explained they were listed on this site and they put me on hold to check. Turns out they will be getting them … next SPRING!! Please offer them for sale at the eStore. This is crazy.
I really want to support and buy some plushies, I’m in love with the meerkat and mountain dog especially, however it is upsetting they aren’t even sold on the estore; this is a bad move buisness wise. So so so many fans are willing to spend so much money on new pets, yet so so so many of us don’t have access to them unless we travel hours which at that point would cost the same to order one from someone else online; which again is a bad buisness move as the money won’t go to ganz. I’m saying this with all my heart, I wish the best for webkinz and would love a revival in popularity, but that won’t happen if barley anyone can purchase them :( I truly hope Ganz takes everyone’s feedback into consideration if they decide to add another wave of pets.

This launch is extremely frustrating. There is no stores in my state or even a connecting state. I can’t buy anything online and it sounds like it won’t even be for sale at all online. very frustrating and disappointing.
I contacted the one store in my city that will be selling them. They do not have them yet. Maybe by Monday. I was told they are limiting 1 pet purchase per person due to the limited quantity they will receive.
I have also been frustrated by this release. Only one store on the west side of Washington even knows what’s happening. I even was told Webkinz went out of business lol. Wish we had the opportunity to purchase from the app as verified users so resellers don’t have access, but users do. I’ve been super excited for this drop date since they announced it, yet now the app says “Coming Fall 2025”. When can we expect these to be available? Is the store locator list accurate, as all stores I have tried don’t have any Webkinz?
This release has been frustrating for me because no where seems to know what’s going on. Also the fact that most of the stores around me that have them are hospital gift shops is also frustrating. I’m very anxious about resellers buying the whole stock up before I can even find.
I agree. In my area, nobody knows what is going on and the listing on the shop locator is not accurate. All of them are saying they either do not know what is going on or not stocking them. Players are curious as to how this list was made up. Any suggestions on how to get one before they are all gone?
