Fluffington’s Movie Theater
Hailey: Know what Fluffington is famous for?Elwin: His love of the arts?Hailey: Something else. Elwin: His fabulous parties?Hailey: Try again.Elwin: His incredible wealth? Hailey: Bingo! Yes, Fluffington is famous for being very, very wealthy. And that’s why we weren’t very surprised when he asked us to build him a theater in his basement. Elwin: A movie theater! In his basement! Hailey: Elwin and I were able to find the seats, wallpaper, flooring, standee, lights and carpet at the W Shop. But we were missing something pretty significant. Elwin: The screen. The gigantic, ginormous screen. Hailey: THAT, my dear friends, is a Rare item. Elwin: A beautiful Rare item. One that I would LOVE to have in my home theater. Hailey: Uh, Elwin? You don’t have a home theater. Elwin: Oh. Right. Well…you know, one day. When I do. Hailey: Sure. Until then, though, we can visit Fluffington and watch movies at his place. We have a standing invitation! Elwin: One of the many perks of being a Designer Elephant. I love my job.
Whimsical Wonderland Theme
Elwin here with a Rare theme I hope you’ll love as much as I do: the Whimsical Wonderland theme! As you all know, I tend to like decorating with…let’s say, wilder colors and elements. When the Whimsical Wonderland theme came out, I couldn’t believe my eyes – this was exactly what I had been waiting for! A theme so wacky, so wild – it was perfect! Anyway, I created a room a while back for a client of mine. I really liked it, so I kept a picture for my portfolio. I love every part of this room – from the heart wallpaper to the indoor garden. How many pets can say that they’ve got an INDOOR garden? The vibrant colors are just fabulous, and I have a soft spot in my heart for the bubble-blowing caterpillar. What piece of this theme do you like best, my friends?
Medieval Room Theme
Elwin here with another awesome Rare room theme to share! It’s one of my all-time favorites: the Medieval theme! I created this room for a client who happened to love all things medieval. This was in his basement, and he wanted it to feel like a special castle hideaway. I LOVE the long dining table (perfect for hosting royal gatherings), the knights standing on guard, the thrones (as you can see, my client’s wife enjoyed her throne immensely), and the sitting area. I also really like the bedroom, and how it’s set apart from the rest of the room by the gorgeous dividers (I got those at the eStore). The drapes, tapestries and windows are excellent accessories, and the stone walls and floor really makes this room look like it’s from back in medieval times! The Persian Palace Room Theme
Have you ever wanted to live in a palace? Ever since I was just a little elephant, that’s been a dream of mine. And now it’s coming true, with this gorgeous Persian Palace room! OK, so it’s not MY room, but I can live vicariously through my client! My favorite thing about this theme is the color palette. I love the pinks, blues, turquoises and purples. I think this might be my favorite rare theme of all time – it’s just so pretty. When I was designing this room, I wanted to make it comfortable and airy. That’s why I added not one but TWO beds, and a whole bunch of windows. I also think the pool in the corner adds an extra-special spa-like touch. Aztec Theme
Hailey here with another Rare theme spotlight! Today we’re going to take a look at the always amazing Aztec theme. Check it out! The first thing I love about this theme is the floor – followed closely by the wallpaper! The various shades of gray, greenish-gray and bluish-gray work just perfectly together. Next, I love how vibrant the reds, blues, greens and oranges are against the slate colors. My personal favorite pieces are the bed (I LOVE that bedspread) and the fire pit. Oh! And the totems. Those are just gorgeous. If you’ve got a Webkinz who happens to love a striking, intricate theme, then this is the one to get.
Victorian Garden Theme
Elwin here with a gorgeous OUTDOOR Rare theme – the only one, actually! It’s the Victorian Garden theme and it’s so special. I mean, really? Have you ever seen anything so stunning in your life before? I made this garden for none other than Meriwether St. Bernard – Fluffington’s teacup loving aunt. She told me that she wanted a garden that would make the ladies in her book club sit up and take notice. And I think this garden did the trick! My personal favorite pieces are the bird baths, tea table and intricate benches. Of course, I also love the various shrubbery and the variety of trees. Some of the flowers are from the W Shop (don’t tell Meriwether!), and I think they work just perfectly. Actually, any flowers or trees would look wonderful in this gloriously green yard!

Wonderful Rare Items!
Hailey and Elwin here with some exciting news! For the next few weeks, we’re going to be featuring special rooms on Webkinz Newz. What makes the rooms special? The fact that we’re decorating them with RARE items! Have you ever wanted a Rare item of your own? There are LOTS of different ways to get one. Here’s how: 1.You can trade for Rare items in the Trading Room at the Clubhouse. 2.You can find Rare items in the Curio Shop – but you never know when, so you have to check often (Arte’s shelves are restocked hourly). 3.Deluxe members get a whole section to themselves at the Curio Shop, so they have an even higher chance to see a Rare item! 4.You can get Rare items from certain Challenges (keep an eye on the Newz – we’re going to give you an insider’s look at exactly which Challenges give you those Rare items!). One more thing – rumor has it that the Egyptian theme is going to be retired, so if you happen to see any of it before June 20, pick it up!
