Braces arnt that bad. I got em on July 7 and you can eat sugar free gum (most is) and I lived on jello for a day and then I was fine I eat gummy bears too (don’t tell My ortho) :) :) :) ;)

Sorry that I’ve been gone FOREVER… Usually get home at 3ish. I just got my brackets (braces) on. And boy, it’s mashed potatoes for me 3 meals a day 24/7! I can’t even talk well! :( Cool estore items though.

OMG it hurts so much!!! My dentist flipped out at me because I had a ‘wiggly tongue’ and kept getting my teeth wet so the braces wouldn’t stick.
Hm… wait wait. Can I eat soft pretzels? Any experienced braces-people? I NEED TIPS!!!
I got braces about a month ago. You can eat practically anything except gum or hard food like carrots. And in about a year, you’ll have nice straight teeth! :D

I’ve had braces for about a year, Heatherstem, and soft pretzels are a yes! It’s the really sticky, gummy, gooey stuff you wanna watch out for ’cause it could pull a bracket off. Things like popcorn (which I eat anyway) can be bad if the little kernels get stuck in the wires. Other than that, just brush a lot, use mouthwash, and if it kills really bad, take an Advil or something. :D
