Some Great Ways to Make Over Your Routine!

We all have certain habits we take for granted. Maybe you reach for the cookies as soon as you walk in the door, or take the bus to school when you could just as easily walk.

This May is a great time to look at your habits and really think about which ones could use a makeover. You’d be amazed at how making just a few small changes in your routine can have a big effect on your overall well-being.

Now that the nice weather is here, why not spend more time outdoors? Do you enjoy watching TV? What if you were to trade one hour of TV shows a week for a bike ride or a walk with your dog?

Love sugar? Who doesn’t? If you’re getting your sugar fix from baked goods and candies, why not replace one sugary treat a day with fruit, a natural source of sugar? Have a juicy orange or a handful of luscious grapes instead.

More rest equals more energy. If you unplug from your electronics just 15 minutes earlier each night and wind down before bed with a book, you’ll get a better night’s sleep and find it easier to concentrate the next day.

Just a few simple alterations in your routine will have you feeling healthier and more active. And once you see the positive results you may be motivated to make even more changes.

You’ll be surprised what a difference a makeover can make!

Funny. They tell you to spend less time on electronics, and this is a website. It’s on a computer. How do they explain that? If you only use the computer for a certain amount of time I would have to do homework.

Thank you all 4 such good advice, I am definitely getting outside more this summer. It is just that I worry I will miss something wonderful in Webkinz world tho…… Oh well, there should be a balance to using my time wisely. Don’t mind me~ I am just thinking out loud, but I really like the dog walking idea after school! Anyway, thanks for great ideas! :)

I know what habits I need to stop… I’m unhealthy but it’s so hard to keep healthy! Luckily, my aunt is a nutritionist and knows how to keep herself and others healthy. I know she would be happy to help me by making a meal plan for me, but eighty percent of the food items she puts on them my family can’t even afford! So I have to do it myself! I’ve tried, but it’s really hard, as A LOT of people know.

My cat Tiger ran out the door about 20 mins. ago and my brother is still looking for him. He took our dog out with him, to smell out the cat. But our dog’s afraid of the cat!!! She’s scared of everthing!
