I’m back!!! Don’t get me wrong – in the end I really did think camp was great and I loved spending time with my friends, but… I’M SO HAPPY TO BE HOME! I really missed my mom and dad! I’m sure it will be easier next year and I’m lucky because I had Amanda with me the whole time, but I guess I’m kind of a homebody. For all that camp turned out to be a lot better than I expected, nothing could be better than seeing my parents waiting for us at the bus stop.
Part of the reason I couldn’t wait to get home is that I just had so much fun at camp and I was dying to tell my parents all about it. There is only so much you can write in a letter and in the car ride home my mom said she thought I was going to run out of batteries if I didn’t stop talking. My mom felt so bad for poor Sparky when I told her about Ivy pranking him, and my dad was said that he would’ve been scared too if Cowabelle had been hiding in the bushes making creepy noises while Roberta told her ghost story.
My mom and dad LOVED all the neat stuff we made. My mum put flowers in her twig vase already and my dad has been wearing my bottle cap necklace all day. Then Amanda and I put on a puppet show for them with our sock puppets and my mom laughed so hard!
I love being back home with my family. It’s okay though because I know now that camp is really fun and next year I don’t have to have to feel sad about leaving them for a bit. But for now – I’m happy to be exactly where I am!

Wow, Polly, you are so like me. I feel the same way and am a real homebody. Camp would be ok for a little while, but I like home best!
Glad u had fun at CampKinz i wish i went with u.I would have missed my parents toO so don’t feel embarrassed.:-D

That camp did sound like fun. I wouldn’t care how much it would cost, I would send my pet there!

Yes, i’m going to miss the this months theme. It was very fun. Even sparky. He got prainked alot and still ivy and sparky are freinds. They make so great ‘Kinz stories ;D. I’m going to miss it ;(

I went to camp, only one night it rained like crazy, on the night my group was in the tent camping out. My older cousin, and Time Bandit’s big sister(and our group leader) had parked the van in a valley, and had left the window down. There was water in the tent, and in the van…so funny!
