So Goober took me home from Dr. Quack’s and said that we had to start making some changes. Ugh – thanks a lot, Dr. Quack!

Goober explained about making sure that I got lots of different types of food with each meal. I’m supposed to make sure and have a lot of fruits and vegetables (this is going to be torture!), a small portion of protein – that’s like meat and eggs and fish (blech!) – and whole grains, which means rice or whole wheat pasta or bread. Whole wheat? Who wants whole wheat? I like white bread – the whiter the better! I’m also supposed to eat dairy stuff like milk and cheese and yogurt.

I told Goober that cheese puffs seem like a good balance of dairy and grains to me. Seriously – what’s wrong with that?

Goober says I need to make sure that I have a mixture of everything on my plate at mealtime, and that the more colors I see on my plate the better.

When I said that if I had jelly beans for dinner I’d get lots of colors he didn’t even laugh. Geez. Ever since we got back from Dr. Quack’s Goober has been really touchy.

    Dude, Booger, you seriously need a change of attitude. Believe me, that stuff is good.
    Ok, so I’m with you on the dessert issue. For the most part, I like dessert better than real food.
    But for meat- try something like enchiladas, shepherd’s pie, chicken pot pie, BBQ, or ribs.
    Eggs- Scrambled cheesy eggs, dude! Can’t get enough!
    Whole grains- White bread is boring, dude. Whole grain every time. And if you can get bagels and cinnamon sugar butter or cream cheese . . . mmm. Love ‘em. Crackers (like Wheat Thins or Triscuits or whatever the Webkinz versions of those are) are awesome too.
    Dairy- Cheese, cheese, cheese. Can’t get enough! Same goes for yogurt. And milk beats soda any day.

    I mean i eat my basic three meals a day and have a little dessert after everyone. Also what does Dr. Quack know! He’s overweight and in chef challenge he likes soda pops and doesn’t like milk! See what i mean!

      I understand that if i got that bad i would have to cut back but serioesly! I mean i eat my basic three meals a day and have a little dessert after everyone. For a while i got overweight but now i’m losing weight faster than i expected. I use the electrionics about 6-7 hours a day derring the week when after school i have nothing better to do than watch tv and use the computer. Also what does Dr. Quack know!

    Booger, Booger, Booger… What will we ever do with you! Goober and Dr. Quack are older and more experienced then you and you need to trust them!
