This is an easy way to dress up your surroundings when you’re throwing a Pink Party.

What you need:

-          A large planter

-          Gravel or sand

-          A long straight stick or wooden broom handle

-          Silver or pink spray paint (optional)

-          About 6 pink and white balloons (3 of each), blown up and tied

-          Pink or white ribbon

What you do:

1. If using spray paint, paint planter and stick and let dry. (Get an adult assistant to help with this).

2. Pour sand or gravel into planter and insert stick so it stands up straight.

3. Tie long bits of ribbon onto the base of each balloon and tie all balloons together into one large bunch.

4. With a ribbon, affix the bunch of balloons to the top of the stick.

Voila! Ask Persephone Poodle just how fab this trick is – she uses it all the time!

You could also use ribbons and bows instead of balloons. Balloons deflate after awhile. So if you want it to last, use ribbons. But it’s still cute with balloons. just saying that ribbons will last longer.
