Crafty Critterz: Webkinz Game

It is a race to see who finishes first on the Webkinz path with obstacles and Webkinz chance cards along the way!

What you need:

• Images of the animals from Webkinz News
• White sticker labels
• Markers
• Bristol board
• Scissors
• Webkinz Figurines
• Single Dice

What you do:

1.       Use the images of the animals from Webkinz Newz to create Webkinz stickers.  We had precut stickers so they are fairly large which resulted in a fairly large game board but you could use smaller ones to create your path.  You could even cut and paste the pictures onto the game board instead of stickers.

2.       For fun, you can lay out the Webkinz in order of release date along the path so everyone could see the first plush Webkinz to the last.

3.       Draw on the staircases with marker.  This is really the best part of the game! You must go up or down the staircase if you land on tile at the start or finish of the staircase.

4.       The Webkinz cards also add lots of fun to the game, especially when played on Webkinz Day, why some of the cards include “Win a Prize”.

Cards are made out of Bristol board cut up into 2” x 4” squares.  Stickers have instructions on one side and the Webkinz logo on the other side.  Cards include move forward number of spaces, move back number of spaces, more forward (or back) to the nearest Water, Jungle or any kind of Webkinz, roll again.

How to Play

• 2 or more players
• Role dice to see which player starts, then play clockwise until someone reaches finish square first.
• Using Webkinz figurines as game pieces you make your way from start to finish along the Webkinz path trying to get to the finish first.
• If you land on a staircase spot you must go up or down the staircase which creates the most fun twists and turns along the way!
• If you land on the Webkinz logo, you take a card and follow the instructions on the card, you may need to roll again, move ahead or back spaces, or to your closest Webkinz.

Webkinz Day Variation

On Webkinz Day or any special occasion you can increase the fun by adding some additional Webkinz chance cards such as “Win a Prize!”
