A new DIY Design event starts today on Webkinz Classic, and there’s a brand-new DIY Bed to dye!
Here’s how it works: From August 13 – 21, Look for the floating bottle of dye on your Webkinz Classic account and click on it to collect a bottle of dye:
Your bottle of dye will be added to your Dock, under “Special Items”.
You can combine these DIY dyes with a piece of DIY furniture and a DIY Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet to make funky new furniture for your pets!
You can buy DIY furniture, DIY Design Tickets and the DIY Design Guide in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop:
There are seven pieces of furniture that you can buy at the WShop that you can dye with the DIY dye you collect during this event: The DIY Lamp, Window, Rug, Dining Chair, Wallpaper, Chair, and the brand-new DIY Bed:
And, there are seven different bottles of DIY dye that you can collect during this event: DIY Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple and Red Dye:
Once you have collected some dye and bought a piece of DIY furniture and a DIY Design Ticket from the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop, use the Things To DO menu to access the KinzStyle Outlet, then click on the Clothing Machine button to access the Clothing Machine:
Drag a DIY Design Ticket, piece of DIY furniture and a bottle of DIY dye into the Clothing Machine, then click the MAKE IT button, and your new piece of furniture will be added to your Dock!
You can use the DIY Design Guide to learn more about this event. It will be added to your Dock the first time you log in to your Webkinz Classic account from August 13 – 21.
There are also three bottles of premium DIY dye that you can purchase from the WShop for eStore points. Look for bottles of DIY Retro Dye, DIY Pastel Dye and DIY Tropical Dye in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop.
Combine a bottle of premium DIY dye with a DIY Design Ticket and piece of DIY furniture to make fancy new furniture that your pets will love:
Bottles of premium DIY dye are currently available to buy from the WShop today, and will remain in the WShop once the DIY event ends on Webkinz Classic.
Free players will be able to collect 2 free bottles of dye a day, full players 3, and Deluxe players will be able to collect 4 free bottles of dye a day. But, bottles of dye are awarded randomly, so play every day during this event to collect as many bottles of DIY dye as you can!

Oh that doodle bed is EVERYTHING, I can’t wait to craft one!
I’ve made one bed today. Made a bed for my little Lady Bug. Used the “RED” dye, however it’s not really “RED”, as the back ground is PINK and the little Lady Bugs are “RED” and black. No matter the bed turned out adorable. I DO wish we had a solid RED, no texture design Please! In fact I wish we had some solid color dye like Red, Black, Brown (medium to Dark Brown), Yellow, Blue (sky blue and dark blue), Orange, Purple (light purple and dark purple), Green (light and dark), and maybe Grey (light and dark). The textured colors are lovely, but would love some solid colors too. And….the cost of the bed at 900KC, was a bit much. That will keep me from buying more for a while. But….my little Lady Bug’s room with her new Lady Bug bedspread is ADORABLE! :-)
I too would love solid color dyes alucard!!! I did not read very close and tried to make a solid color bed and it make funky pants. I would go crazy decorating with all those items in all the solid colors. If they do that please make it for purchase using kinzcash.
May the floaties be fast and furious! I can’t wait to make some beds. I think that they will be my favorite after the easy chair. The chairs are a great way to add some designer splash to a room. Currently the rugs are my most used because you never seem to have enough of just the right rug. For usefulness, the bed will be #1 because of the benefit for the health meter.
I wonder how many beds are going to be made today! I have already made a Ladybug bed days ago! So many rooms redecorated today!
I’m making all of the beds! At least two of each DIY Dye except the premium as I only have one bottle of each of those dyes.
I had already made the Ladybug (Red) one. I made the other 9 and then proceeded to redecorate several of the beds in some of my rooms. Tested some of the new ones in other rooms. This is going to be fun! I had one room that I had already set up using the Orange dye, so being able to add the new bed in it was so much fun. I thinking that a few new rooms may be made today.
