Have you ever gotten to the point in a friendship where you realize that maybe, just maybe, it’s not going very well? I’m at that point with Dacey. I called her again today (that’s the fifth time in two days) and she just isn’t answering her phone. About two hours after I called, she sent me this text message:
“C – call you sometime. Stop calling. Very busy! -D”
I don’t even know what to say about that!
I’m so sad. I thought she was my friend – my true friend. Sure, we don’t see each other very much, but up until recently she always sent me emails and we chatted on the phone a couple times each week. But now? Now I don’t even get the courtesy of her answering my phone calls! Now the emails are short and not very friendly at all! It seems to have started when she began filming her latest movie. Maybe she’s just too big a star to be friends with boring old Cowabelle.
I tried talking to Roberta, but she told me to chill out and focus on my other friends for now.
Well, that’s not helpful advice at all.
I just hope maybe Dacey realizes what a good friend she’s losing and goes back to being her old self.
tell her how you really feel cowabelle and that you don’t what and what you want.
This looks like a job for decetive cowabelle text her and tell her a your on to her and if she dosen’t tell you what’s going on your going to take a look yourself.
I agree with Roberta… focus on your other friends. You don’t know what is going on in Dacey’s life right now. It may not have anything to do with you. Text her and let her know that you are here for her if and when she wants or needs to talk. I know it’s hard when you can’t talk to a good friend.
I`m sorry she`s not being nice Cowbelle.
Dacey’s just busy, that’s all. Seriously C, you’ve GOT to chill.

Cowabelle, I might have an idea of what might be going on. Maybe Dacey is planning a suprise for you, and she doesn’t want you to spoil it by knowing what she’s been doing the past few days. Its just a thought, and if Roberta is in on the surprise that would explane why she told you not to bother Dacey. Hope you take this into consideration….I could be wrong, but hey, it was a thought…. :)
