Crafting with Roberta: Pompom Critters

What you  need:

Pompoms, craft glue, felt, wiggle eyes, scissors, pipe cleaners, black or brown fabric paint, your imagination

What you do:

  1. Figure out what kind of pompom animal you want to make. I personally love making little chicks!
  2. Cut off about an 1 ½ inches from your pipe cleaner. Make a V-shape from the pipe cleaner.
  3. Glue your pompom to the pipe cleaner V (these are the chick’s legs).
  4. Glue an orange triangle (either felt or construction paper) onto the pompom (this is the beak). Glue two wiggle eyes above the beak.
  5. Glue on two rounded yellow triangles for wings.
  6. Let your critter dry thoroughly!

I love pom pom critters!! I make them for just about every holiday. Like this past christmas we made them for every present and card we gave to others and ourselves. It’s so much fun.. And it’s up to your imagination for sure. l like pom pom rings and pom pom earrings too. I’ve never made a necklace though. Maybe I should give it a try. Thanks for reminding me how much fun i’ve had making these in the past.. Happy Easter and Passover..

That sounds cute! Last Christmas, I got a Craft Kit. I made these cute little snowmen with my craft kit, they were so cute! I glued 2 white pompoms on top of each other. Then I used a glue gun to make this cute felt tip hat and stuck it on my snowman. Then I used pipe cleaners (and scissors) to make arms. I also added some cute features! I used a marker for buttons, some felt for a scarf, and even a tiny orange pipe cleaner for a cute carrot nose! ♥
