Dear Nibbles,
Do you remember that mysterious island I wrote to you about? Well, today we were sailing through a thick fog, when suddenly the fog parted and for a brief moment we could see land in the distance. Dogbeard grabbed his telescope to take a look but then he just shook his head like he could believe what he had seen. I took the telescope from him and looked, and I could swear that I saw these strange trees with what looked like kind of like coconuts but almost more like brown eggs growing on them. But how could that be? What kind of eggs would grow on trees? Then I saw something grab one of the eggs off of a tree. All I could see was a pair of long ears. Then the wind blew up and the fog closed in, blocking my view.
It was the strangest place I had ever seen. I hope we can find it again.

Well, it is now quite obvious. Laurabeard and her father are headed towards Easter Island. Just in time for Easter, too. But what strikes me as odd is that the Easter Bunny gets his chocolate Easter eggs from a tree! I always thought that he made them himself.
