It’s Cowabelle and am I ever exhausted! What a day! The parade was so much fun, but it didn’t go exactly as planned. You know how I was kind of disappointed about not being chosen to be the Queen of the Easter Parade? Well, in the end, I kind of was.
Everything WAS going fine. Millie was perched on the throne on top of the Easter Float. She looked so cute in my tiara. She was holding a basket full of chocolate eggs, and all she really had to do was toss the eggs out to the crowd and wave. Not so tough, right? Except halfway through the parade route she stops. I was her helper and stood beside her smiling and waving and it was my job to refill her basket from a big box of eggs hidden under the throne. When she stopped throwing them out to the crowd I asked what was wrong and she said she was running out of eggs and she wanted to keep the rest for herself. I explained that there were a lot more eggs and I even tried to scoop some into the basket, but Millie turned away, holding the basket really close to her and saying “Mine!” I kept trying to reason with her as I tried to keep tossing eggs from the box over my shoulder into the crowd but she was determined that the rest of the eggs in the basket were hers and she wasn’t sharing. Then, she sees Molly and her mom standing in the crowd and she just stands up, pulls the tiara off of her head and throws it onto the throne. She marches to the edge of the float, still clutching the basket, and hops off and runs to her mom!
So now I’m standing on the float like an idiot not really knowing what to do. Ms. Birdy was in the cab of the truck pulling the float and she shouts out to me “Cowabelle, put the tiara on!” So I did. And then I pulled out the box of eggs (which wasn’t quite as quaint as Millie’s basket) and started throwing eggs to everyone.
When we got to the end of the parade route, my mother and Dr. Quack and Ms. Birdy all gathered around and hugged me and said that I had saved the day.
Wow. I know I wanted to be Queen and all, but can you say ‘stressful’?
I’m glad Cowabelle came through. It sounds like she did all she could to have Millie be the center of attention, even though she’s made some poor choices in the past. Don’t we all? That doesn’t excuse Cowabelle or any of the rest of us for our past mistakes, but not to recognize good choices is unfair, Maria. Haven’t you made poor choices? I have – more than once. I hope Cowabelle can keep this new attitude going.

Cowabelle, I don’t mean to bust your bubble but I still don’t think you deserve to be queen. And you didn’t really save the day. I mean anyone can put on a crown and throw eggs. And I still don’t know if I can forgive you. I’m a little disappointed because I thought for sure Millie would make an excellent queen (because she deserved it, but I guess she probably panicked when she the easter eggs go down thinking they were the only supply of candy in webkinz world). I guess though since it’s easter I’ll congratulate you on your job well done.
You’re only gonna congratulate her just because its Easter?? Think about it. If she hadn’t put on the crown and thrown eggs when Millie didn’t, what would the other people waiting to catch eggs feel if they couldn’t have any because Millie wanted the rest for herself. Millie is a B-R-A-T and you know it. :)
You totally saved the day !!! I never really liked Millie, and I don’t think I ever will. I am sooo proud of you!!! KEEP ON ROCKING IT GIRL!!! Do you think I use too many exclamation marks?
Now they’ll think twice about picking Millie to do anything. Nice job, you really saved the day!! :D XD
