I have been thinking a lot about Earth Day and what I can do. There are so many activities going on that day. I know I want to participate, but I just want to make sure that whatever I do really has an impact, you know?
There is a 5 mile walk being organized in the Big City (but that is kind of far from here) as well as tree planting in the Caring Valley. The W Shop and Ms. Birdy’s Adoption Center are teaming up to give out cloth diapers to new parents and there is also going to be a recycling event at Kinzville Park.
These are all really cool events that will help raise awareness about taking care of our planet. I’m just not sure exactly how I want to contribute. Whatever I do I want it to be really noticeable and make a real difference to Kinzville.
Earth Star, you get Webkinz World prizes like clothes and beds and stuff. Sometimes there are contests to get webkinz pets too. Hope I helped. (*(*dragonfish*)*)
I also like 2 plant trees……………………..i got a tree 4 my birthday last year and now it is growing in our yard. I love watching it get bigger and bigger…….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In 5th grade at our school we get 2 go to the middle and primary schools and get stuff 2 recycle like paper, cardboard, cans, etc. I love doing it 2 help the earth. :~)
I clenad up the school park with my firends and my yards and I’m going to clean the soccer cort with my friend over spring brake.
Hi Sally, while I agree it is nice to be noticed I think here it is NOT you who wants to be noticed rather what you do or did. try rehanging swings at a children’s school or refilling the sandbox. Try water rationing or clean up a nearby river or stream.you can also plant a tree in your own yard or some plants around the nursing home in Kinzville for the older kinz.. there are many many things you can do. I am sure all will be noticed. grab the kinz groups and go to the junk yard get and old used tire and place it in the pond for a fish bio-garden…go to the mayors council and adopt a portion of a highway to keep clean for a year… small things make a big impact
KOOL sally WAY kool! :-)
