Three Webkinz Party Treats!

There are so many great ideas when it comes to Webkinz-themed party treats. Here, we’ll show you three – all you need to make them are 24 cupcakes, frosting, and a few candies!

Webkinz Cupcakes

What you need: 8 cupcakes, frosting (your choice of color), sprinkles, candy

What you do:

1.       Give each guest a cupcake.

2.       Give each guest a little bowl of frosting and a butter knife to spread it (or, if you’d rather use an icing bag technique, give each guest a small zip-top sandwich bag of icing. Snip off one corner and it’s an instant icing bag)!

3.       Let each guest decorate their cupcake as they see fit.

4.       Package up each cupcake and let your guests choose whether to eat them at your party or take them home.

Sacchbingarings
To make Sacchbingarings you need:

12 cupcakes (vanilla or chocolate), thin licorice strings, light blue, yellow and pink icing

What you do:

1.       Unwrap each cupcake from the liner.

2.       Frost 4 cupcakes in pink, 4 in yellow and 4 in blue.

3.       Wrap the licorice string around the top of the cupcake in a swirl.

MAZIN’ Hamster Cake Lollies
What you need:

Four cupcakes, ¼ cup icing, bowl, spoon, chocolate coating (for dipping), lollipop stick, sprinkles, Styrofoam block or cardboard box

What you do:

1.       Squish up the cupcakes into the bowl. Make them into crumbs.

2.       Add the icing to the crumbs. Mix it all around until it’s well-combined.

3.       Form little balls from the crumb-and-icing mixture.

4.       Put the balls on a cookie sheet and stick them in the fridge for a couple of hours.

5.       Have your adult assistant help with the melting of the chocolate wafers.

6.       Take the balls out of the fridge. Insert a lollipop stick in each (note: you can dip the tip of the lollipop stick into the melted wafers first and then stick it into the cake ball).

7.       Dip the cake balls into the melted wafers. Tap them gently to remove any excess chocolate. Stand them up by poking them into a piece of Styrofoam or a cardboard box.

8.       Using a toothpick and some melted wafers, attach sprinkles for the MAZIN’ Hamster’s eyes and nose. Add two ears (we found that little round candy balls worked well). Add little feet (we found that flower-shaped sprinkles looked cute).

9.       Let your MAZIN’ Hamster dry, then package it!
