I’m unimpressed. Very disappointing honestly. These look like every plush toy on shelves. They aren’t charming unique or fun like the webkinz I know and love. I’m sorry but overall 8d say generation 2 is a massive loss of what made webkinz so appealing in the first place.
Hmm…well, I have mixed feelings about these. While I am thrilled that they are finally making plush again (and even more thrilled that you’ll be able to adopt them on Classic Webkinz, too! =D ), I am a little disappointed that they look a lot like…well, every other stuffed animal out there :P I really like how realistic lots of the Webkinz plush looked in the past, so I guess I’m not a huge fan of the design, this time around? Still, I’m willing to give these plush a chance, and will probably buy one sometime to try them out! I probably won’t know for sure what I think until I see one in person. I do have a few questions, though: (1) does it say anywhere how big these plush are? Are they like the size of a regular Webkinz, or a little bigger or smaller? (2) I know it said on the estore that the Wekkinz Classic code will be sent separately. So I’m assuming that means if I were to order one before December 16 or whenever the date was, the Classic code will just be sent out whenever you’re able to adopt them and I’d receive it in the mail sometime after I receive the plush?
As a Canadian I find these quite expensive, but I’ll put them on my wishlist! The golden retriever is so cute! uwu
The ONLY reason I’d be getting one of these is to keep my account alive. The ONLY reason. It’s not that these aren’t cute, but they’re not like the webkinz plus I love at all. If webkinz looked like this when I first bought one, I wouldn’t have cared much about it at all. It’s a trendy design now, but it looks just like everything else on the market today, which isn’t a classic, long standing look. This is just an opinion, of course, but I really can’t see myself voluntarily buying more of these than needed to keep my account alive.
@SallyWebkinz just two questions. 1. do you have any answer as to why these costs more than the original webkinz? because these are the type of plush that you see EVERYWHERE and look like they should not cost more than $15.00. 2. Why did ganz decide to NOT release them to stores and INSTEAD make them online only in a online store that alot of people probably never even HEARD of? What ganz has done makes no sense and I can GAURANTEE that very few people will even buy these! :(
These are a limited run. Having these available online makes it more available to more people than if a couple were available here and there in a handful of stores. The price includes free shipping and two codes.

Well, I’m glad it comes with a code for classic too, but I miss the classic plush pet look. I’d probably pick some up if I saw them in stores like old times, but I won’t go out of my way to order from estore :/ I’m happy there is a plush option though for BOTH games for everyone who wants one!
Finally! So cute! Me and my sister are both crazy about them! One question: Will we only be able to use the code on one of the platforms? I wanted to share with my sister, because she prefers Webkinz, and I prefer Webkinz Classic. Thanks so much! :)
