Wow! What a fantastic response to our pet design contest! We had over 3,000 entries and as always it was tricky narrowing the list down. Because it was so difficult to choose, in honor of Webkinz’ 15th anniversary this year, we decided to select 15 finalists!
Now we want to hear what you think! The winning pet will be sold in Ganz eStore starting on Webkinz Day, April 29, 2020.
As always, we look at concepts that we believe would be a great fit for Webkinz World. We are not judging the entries based on artistic talent, but on ideas that we think would make great pets. Please keep that in mind when you make your selection. Whichever pet we select, the Webkinz art department will work their magic to make it fit the Webkinz style.
While the final decision is up to the Webkinz creative department, we will take your input in consideration when making our final choice. Check out the 15 finalists and let us know in the comments below which one is YOUR favorite.

The winner will have their design turned into a real virtual pet in Webkinz World and they will receive a code for their pet when it is added to Webkinz World. They will also receive a 1 Month Deluxe Membership to Webkinz, a virtual Pet Design Trophy, and all ten finalists will each receive a 6 pack of 2020 Winterfest Cookies, courtesy of Ganz eStore.
These are all fantastic! I wish pets could be made from all of them. The baby sloth looks like it would be so squishy and cuddly if it was a plush animal.
my favorite is the bubble googles! because im not familiar what most of the other things are.

I LOVE the Australian Cattledog. One of my favorites so far!
But the Elkhound is a very close second for me.
My favorites are the Cactus cat and the Australian cattle dog!

I absolutely love the Cactus Cat. Living in the desert I have a huge love for the beautiful cacti and cats are my favorite animal. It’s my two favorite things in one! The Cactus Cat has my vote!

Wow – nice! I really like the Tanuki, the Icelandic Horse, the Greater Kudu, the Stained Glass Turtle and the Elkhound and hope they all eventually become Webkinz. But, I would love to see the Pangolin win because, as others have suggested, it might bring more attention and awareness to this animal’s plight.
