A look back at 20 years of login gifts!
It all began on April 29, 2006, when players first logged in to celebrate the very first Webkinz Day.
Created to mark the launch of Webkinz World, Webkinz Day quickly became a yearly tradition in Kinzville. From the very beginning, players could look forward to special login gifts, exciting surprises, and a chance to spin the Superwheel for even more prizes.
As the celebration grew, so did the excitement. In 2008 and 2009, retailers even joined in by hosting special Webkinz Day extravaganzas, bringing the celebration into the real world with fun activities for the Webkinz community.
Over the years, Webkinz Day has become one of the most anticipated events of the year. Each April 29, players log in to collect a brand-new, exclusive gift.

Will these items be tradeable with the special ones?
I didn’t start playing until ’09, and it took me a few years to catch on to the fact that you have to collect items on the day, they were not automatically added to your account. Then it took me more time to catch on to items being retired, so I still need football and soccer items. I’m hoping that there will be new football and soccer themes developed. Maybe next winter they can work on curling items!
I really hope you award the people who already adopted these pets the prizes too because this is unfair.
I can’t wait!!
