Hello Webkinz fans!
As many of you may have noticed, we have not retired any Webkinz plush pets in some time. Yet many of our plush pets have become very hard to find in stores. This is because we have a large number of Webkinz pets that are completely sold out from Ganz. Yes, we’ve fallen behind on our retirements and have made a plan to get all caught up!
Starting on July 27th, we will be retiring a new pet every weekend! Owners of these pets will get extra activities with bonus chances to win virtual prizes. A different activity will be made available on Saturday and Sunday.
To get the process started, we have gone ahead and retired all pets that were Holiday, Chase or made especially for a retail partner (such as Justice or Cracker Barrel). These pets will not be part of the retirement events.
Our new styles of Webkinz plush are now more collectible than ever. If you want a specific pet, let your favorite Webkinz retailer know, as new styles won’t last long. You can also find new Webkinz for purchase online at ToysRUs.com, Amazon.com and other fine retailers.
To keep you better informed, we will be posting articles here on Webkinz Newz when pets sell out, so you don’t miss your chance.
For our Webkinz Signature series fans, we will be releasing our final Signature plush this December. We can’t say exactly which pet it is, but it will be a fan-favorite dog that we haven’t made yet in Signature form. We’d like to thank all of our Signature collectors for supporting this great line since 2009.
So thank you again for being such great fans. We have some amazing new pets coming in the second half of 2013 that we really hope you enjoy.

It disappoints me to acknowledge the fact that you are ending the creation of the webkinz signatures in December. I honestly loved the webkinz signatures a lot more than the regular webkinz. They are the cutest and most creative kind of plushies. I was anticipating that you would create the webkinz signature black wolf. It would be in the same form of the timber wolf with the golden colored eyes for October. I believe that if you also recreate the rare plushies such as the : Webkinz Signature Timber Wolf, Webkinz Signature Golden Retriever, Webkinz Signature German Shepherd and Webkinz Signature Australian Shepherd, you could earn more money. Another tip I will add is that if you turn your signatures (your webkinz and mazin’ hamsterz, if you will) into a worldwide developement, that may help. My timber wolf came with a signature cheetah and was $375.00. Those prices will rocket sky high if Ganz quits creating them. Especially the common ones. There are so much more signatures to create! Take advise from your fellow Webkinz Fans (I’m sure you already do, however, I’ve heard from multiple fans is that you rarely reply. That’s understandable, considering you are very busy). I’m afraid if you stop the developement of signatures, your company may go out of business. I’m not a huge fan of your regular creation, the webkinz. I have around thirty signatures, and was hoping to collect the common ones, now that I’ve purchased the german shepherd, timber wolf and the golden retriever. It will make us fans more difficult to purchase them. I hope the future of your company goes well. Whatever your decision is, I will be there to support. Cheers.
I will truly miss all these Webkinz.. I started collecting these furry friends a year ago. And to know that they’ll be retiring, and signatures going away, well…. Let’s just say I’m pretty upset :( Why Ganz! D:
I agree with cheetahgirljade. I’m only a collector of few webkinz, no signatures, but why stop the signatures?! I love them so. I really wish these posts could stop them from making no more signatures.

Oh, I LOVE the signature plushes I wish they would make a signature Kuvasz puppy it is what I really want…I wish I knew what was retiring. I have the orca, and cookie hamster in the photo are they retiring? please show a list!
