Did you know? The Toy Chase in Webkinz Next can be played from two perspectives.
The default Camera Mode offers a wider field of view from a bird’s eye perspective. From this angle, players may be able to see every toy ball that falls as they play.
However, if players find it difficult to locate toy balls, they can choose to change Camera Modes, therby shifting their view to ground level where the balls will appear larger.
To change your Camera Mode, visit the settings menu and toggle the “Camera Mode” switch. This setting is only available in Kinzville.
You have plenty of time to try playing the Toy Chase in both Camera Modes. The Toy Chase is on in Webkinz Next until December 31, 2023. Once you’ve collected 20 balls, trade them in for a randomly selected toy.
Collect up to 50 balls a day!
Which Camera Mode do you prefer when you’re playing the Toy Chase?

Yesterday I waited a very long time and didn’t receive a single ball. Do I need to clear my cache or what should I do?
No. If you don’t see something within 5 minutes, log out and back in. Some people don’t see the balls after visiting the arcade, so go straight to Kinzville to collect toys.
I definitely prefer camera mode whenever I’m looking for stuff in Kinzville.
i really like this camera mode it really submerges me in the world of webkinz! it’s also great for taking photos wish it was eligible in other places such as the cafe, hair salon ect.
Does this new angle allow access into the woods to get all those lost balls?? lol This game is a fun concept that is unfortunately losing its luster because it simply takes too long. Can you please speed up the ball drops?
This helps so much thank you!! I kept seeing them get stuck behind buildings and wasn’t sure what to do.
I have yet to find 50 per day. I have tried switching camera angles, going in and out of buildings to change the scene, logging in and out and even quitting the game (to clear the cache) waiting 10 minutes and then logging back in. It is pretty frustrating. And the only toys I get when I use 20 balls are the ones from last year. I know I can trade for the others but I really hope things turn around for me. I don’t want to have to rely on trading for toys.
On each of three accounts, I’ve just tried to settle for 20 per day to at least get one prize. Some accounts get nothing, even if I log out and back in. My fingers are crossed for at least one horse barn!
I really wanted the horse barn, too, and got one yesterday! I hope you get one soon, too.
Thank you for making the balls fall more quickly this year! It’s fun to catch them, but it gets tedious if you have to do it for hours on every account you have!
I have been using both modes since many of the balls roll behind buildings and cannot be approached except in camera mode. The balls stay for a long time so unless they are out of bounds I can get them all. Love that the ball drops are large, especially the first one. I’ve gotten all the prizes except the robot.
Default for me. The ground level camera mode literally makes me sick and dizzy to use. Sometimes if I know a ball (or whatever) landed behind a building, I will switch to snag it real quick, but mostly I decide it’s just not worth how it will make me feel. It’s awful.
I have tried both modes and still have NOT seen Any balls drop for the toy chase. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?
Ok. I finally caught 1 episode of balls dropping. I was only able to collect 13 because of where they fell. Three or 4 landed at the back corner of the curio shop on the edge of the kinzville map so I was only able to collect 1 of them. I clicked on one and ran to it so that 1 was collected. However, at that point and time the other 2 or 3 were then behind the curio shop and no longer visible so they could not be clicked on to collect. Several other balls were too close to slides, swings, merry-go-round, etc. so when I clicked on the ball it would place me on the slide, swing or merry-go-round, but not collect the ball. It should not be this difficult to find or to collect these falling balls for the toy chase especially when for every 20 or so collected you get a random item and therefore usually end up with several of the same prize and none of the others. I find it much more frustrating than fun.
