How do I create a linked Webkinz Next account? (New User, Existing Classic Player)
If you’ve never played Webkinz Next before, download it from your app store and then make sure you tap Log In (Not PLAY). Then enter your Classic username and password to log in. It will continue with the account creation process (it’s a new game, no pets or items transfer) and your accounts will be linked.
How do I create a linked Webkinz Next account if I just tap Play? (No Username for Next, Existing Classic Player)
If you tapped Play instead of logging in, you can still link your Classic account. Tap on the Options menu at the top right and then tap the Create GANZ Account button. Enter your Classic username and password here to link your account. You can now log in to Webkinz Next using your Classic username and password.
How do I create a linked Webkinz Classic account if I’ve only played Next? (Have Next Username, No Classic)
Download the desktop app for Webkinz Classic from www.webkinz.com or use the early access browser version. Log in with your Webkinz Next username and password (do not create a new account). After logging in, it will continue with the account creation process (it’s a different game, so no items or pets transfer) and your accounts will be linked. Note that this does not work on the Webkinz Classic mobile app. You can use the Webkinz Classic mobile app after creating the linked account from the desktop app or browser.

Unfortunately there is no way to link accounts that don’t share a username.

When I went to link my accounts it said the account name was already in use
I can not log in to Next with my Classic username and password. I keep getting “wrong user name or password” all the while I’m logged into my classic account. My password is 9 digits 3 are numbers?

I just looked at webkinz next for the first time ever. I have decided to keep it. However, when I type in my webkinz classic user name and password, it will not accept it because my password doesnot have a number in it with my 8 letters. How do I link the accounts?

I have mine linked already, but I’ve been disappointed that there are very few items that can be sent to Classic from Next.
