They look nothing like the pet in new Webkinz World, and the Webkinz Classic version unsettle me. They look like Beanie Boos by TY, which give me the heebie jeebies with their big eyes. (Hopefully not close enough that you guys have a lawsuit!) I will not be buying, even if the were cheaper.

They look too much like those TY Beanie stuffed toys, to me. I don’t care for them, but I know the children will, so that’s good. Back when I bought the plush toys to get the codes, I usually just gave away the plushies or took them to the Salvation Army store. I only kept one or two of the plush toys. For all the collectors out there, I really hope these plush toys will be a huge hit! :-)
Yeah, so double-priced Ty-Beanie Webkinz, huh? Yeesh. I’ll admit to being tempted by the unicorn, on principle, and will say that if you add a dragon, you probably will get me.
I’m really happy we’ve been listened to and that there will be 2 codes with a plush so they can be used for classic players too. But I have to say I’m pretty disappointed with the design :/ If the design was nicer for the plush and classic avatar I’d consider getting one but the way they are now just doesn’t appeal to me much, especially for how much they cost – Webkinz plush never used to be this expensive.
I feel that when I was younger me and my brother used to go to 5 below and get eachother webkinz every Christmas. Now its just not even worth it.
PLEASE RELEASE THEM TO STORES AND LOWER THE PRICE TO $15.00! Because 1. i bet there are hundereds of people out there who DO NOT know what the ganz estore is and 2. For the people who know what it is they ARE NOT going to want to spend $30 on a plush pet that looks EXACTLY the SAME as every single plush pet today! :(

While I am excited for the idea of finally having real plush Webkinz pets back, I am not too thrilled with the style of these new pets. They look so generic, like every other toy I see in the store. They don’t stand out as different and unique like Webkinz always did. I have never cared for the over sized head look on toys.

How exciting! Once some more come out I will start thinking about which one I would like to start a family with my cat. The unicorn would be cool, but I am not a huge fan of the Classic avatar. The new pets’ eyes are a little surprising and as big as their price tag (which I know is because it is three pets in one!). I will need some patience to wait for a few more options and more money I am willing to spend. I am enjoying Next so far and I really do hope these guys do well!
I really do not like how these look like every other stuffed animal for little girls on the market right now. I know Ganz wants to advertise to a younger generation, but couldn’t they just make it a middle ground? or less girly? I’m a boy and I’ve been playing for 14 years. I am a loyal customer, but these are even too expensive for me to consider.
I agree, it looks like those really big-eyed sparkly ones that you see literally everywhere. :/
The unicorn is girly, I guess, but I think my son will like the doggie.
Finally plush!!! I am so happy they work in both new and classic Webkinz! The classic version designs are really cute. But I hope that the next plush to come will not all be super sparkly young-looking. I liked the more realistic design of the old plush which were more geared to everyone. These designs seem geared towards little girls, at least the ones released so far.
I agree. I have mixed feelings but am really happy they’re back and work for both games!
