I think my little talent has to do with technology. My family comes to me with computer problems, phone problems, that sort of thing. I want to work with computers when I’m older, I will get to work with circuit boards and how to fix them I want to work in the IT department of a buisness. I’ve just always been pretty good at fixing things like that. (:

I kinda have a small talent I am good at playing the piano and Acting. The piano I started learning to play the piano when I was 6 or 7 years old. At first it was really easy! Then it got harder and harder. Then we started home schooling! I did not take piano lessons anymore because I was taking them at my old school. I did not go to the school anymore so I could not take lessons anymore. But I learned song without all the notes and stuff and I play songs without any lessons! No notes not lessons…just from plain memory! Acting? Acting kinda comes naturally. I just memorize me lines and practice in rehearsals and then say them perfectly the night of the play! The only plays that I have done are a few from our Church. This year the Christmas play at our Church was called “We Three Spies.”. I was Ms. Maple in that play and had 32 lines! I did really good! A lot of people said I did REALLY good! I was like AWESOME! Those are my talents. Love American girl!

I love American girl. It’s my favorite company ever! I have 5 dolls: My american girl #19, My american girl #39, Mckenna, My american girl #49, and Saige. I really like Isabelle, and I’m asking for her for my Birthday. I do think she is kind of uncreative, I agree, and I was telling myself I wouldn’t get Isabelle, but now I really want her. But I wish they would come out with a singer.

  6. True2MyWord1 says:

She’s cute, but not my type of thing!

  7. Jess2138 says:

I have 9 nine american girl dolls. The first, Nellie, is really special. The next 8 are Samantha, Lanie, Kanani, Felicity, Caroline, Mckenna, Ruth, and Molly. I really like Isabelle, but when will they make a home-schooled one? Or maybe a main character that is African American? And I looove Isabelle’s three books now. I ope they have four books for the next doll! :D

    • PinkPiano says:

I have four: Elizabeth, Felicity, Samantha, and Kirsten. They should make a home-schooled one, a singer, and/or a musician. They did make an African American, Addy.

I have Jess, the 2006 girl of the year as part of my current collection. She is into preserving ancient ruins and has adventures in the jungle. All that kind of fun stuff! However, what most people don’t know is she was actually home schooled for a year. This year took place during the duration of the book, and she is a very bright intelligent young lady. Exactly the kind of adventuress, out there kind of character that should be an example of a home-schooler. After all, we are not backwards, just different. SO many people think we are missing out on the world! Which I find totally funny, because we actually have more chances to get out there and pursue what were good at. It also does not help that every other TV show out there for tweens, they say “I have two options, make things right or become a “HOME-SCHOOLER”! Like its some awful thing. I do totally agree though. It would be amazing if they had a doll that was home-schooled for more than one year of their life. And even then, the teacher sent work with them, but at least it’s better than nothing!

I have 11 AG’s: Chrissa (doll of the year), Elizabeth (historical), Isabella (look-alike), Tiffany (look alike), Kanani (doll of the year), Saige (doll of the year), Helana (look alike), McKenna (doll of the year), Savannah (look alike), Lanie (doll of the year) and finally, Isabelle (doll of the year, and yes, we have her already).

      • marialee333 says:

I am homeschooled! IT IS AWESOME! ANYONE WHO IS NOT HOME-SCHOOLED IS MISSING OUT ON A-LOT!!!!!

  8. Glitter37603 says:

Cool! I heard of her. I have 2 AG dolls, one’s retired. When I play, i pretend they have my talents! I’m really good at singing, writing, drawing, sewing, & basically anything else that has to do with ‘the arts’. But I’m pretty bad at sports, though I’m a fast runner & swim just for fun. I’m also really funny and cant go a day without laughing! That’s why I love my Polka-dot-Pup, Lollipop, cuz she has all my talents!

  9. Chachels says:

But Isabelle is trying to follow in her older sister’s footsteps, so, it is a tiny itsy bitsy bit different. Very slimly different. I do understand what you’re saying. I agree with you.

  10. designergirl101 says:

I have four American Girls, all of which were very special gifts! From my VERY special mom, dad, grandma, and actually grandpa. Anyway, this doll seems to be a bit, IDK like all the rest. It’s always another gymnast or dancer. Last year it was an artist, but if we were all honest this is second dancing girl of the year. However, I would kinda count figure skating and gymnastics as the same-ish thing. So that would make it the fourth. So out of like ten, almost half showcase something to do with dancing. Three showcase conservation, and the first one, IDK what it showcases. So anyway, my point? I love american girl, but they seem to be getting SUPER uncreative! Who agrees? Well except last year, they had an artist, and awhile ago a doll that showcased friendship. So good job on those! But, who agrees they should have a singer?? I think its an awesome idea. Or a violinist or something! I know last years doll had a friend who did music, but lets be realistic, its not really the same thing.

    • webkinz244 says:

ps it is not the same thing

    • barbieslover says:

I agree with bringing out a singer. But what about bringing back some of the older dolls that some of us never had a chance to get?

        • SouthpawSpy says:

          Love Isabelle!!!

        • mugsysgirlatzilladogcom says:

I only have one American Girl Doll,it has the clothing to be a ballerina, a gymnast,or something else I can’t remember. The gymnast is just to plain!I mean,it is a white t-shirt and pink shorts. No shoes. The ballerina is much more creative. It has a beautiful blue dress with silver sequins on the waste line and silver sparkles everywhere! There are two stunning blue bows and blue shoes that lace up too her knees! If you ask me,this doll is much more creative than the rest.

          • mugsysgirlatzilladogcom says:

Oh,and she has the most rich chocolate brown hair I have ever seen.I am a little jealous of this doll!

          • SmoresOfScotland says:

That dress sounds beautiful! I’m a big fan of blue… Also love chocolatey brown hair! My family hasn’t really been into American girl, though, even before we outgrew dolls.

          • popsidoodle says:

i mean am i right???? oh add me as ur friend on webkinz. my user name is …. popsidoodles1!!! thanks so much!!!

    • JustinKappa says:

I agree. I have nine AG dolls(not including my look-alike doll) and even though I’m a dancer, I still think they should have something different like a musician or someone who has some kind of sports skill but AG does need to come up with some new historical dolls, too. Because Molly and Emily just retired and a few others have, too and the only new doll (besides the dolls of the year) even close to lately was Julie. Plus, I’m hoping to actually be able to buy new types of things from other historical dolls to get more of a contrast. (Maybe someone like and old-timey immagrant would be cool! :D ) So who agrees with me that AG should make at least one more (different) historical doll?

      • Snowflake Pup Queen says:

They probably plan to. They do have new ones Marie Grace and Cecile and Caroline. Marie Grace and Cecile’s story line I don’t know but Caroline’s talks about the war of 1812. I do honestly feel they should make dolls a little more different. Even if it was changing the face mold. I would love if they made another British doll, I know Emily was British but another. The only thing that bugs me is that they called Emily’s dog Yank. Does AG even KNOW what yank is in the British language (insulting name against Americans it is actually rude so is AG looking to be called a Yank)

      • marialee333 says:

Me! My sister has Molly. She says I doesn’t think they should have retired all the good ones. And my sis also says that they should make a pilgrim American Girl.

    • HappyHerbivore says:

I agree!!! I don’t play with mine anymore, but it’s always fun to look at the girls of the year. They have been getting a little more boring and boring. They need a musician, vocalist, swimmer, horseback rider, basketball player, volleyball, tennis, or something! There is so many choices out there. I have 7 dolls. I first got Kaya in 2007 from my parents. I wanted an Indian doll because I am part Cherokee Indian. That same Christmas my grandparents got me Nicki. I loved her so much! Next I got my look-a-like, Morgan. She has brown hair and bangs and green eyes, and I always made her look like me. Then I got Julie with my own money. I next got Lanie. I loved her and her books, I love nature too, so it fit. Then I got Kit. I loved her books a lot so I had to get her. Last, I got Felicity before she retired. I bought 4 myself. They are all special and I’ll never get rid of them, even though I don’t play with them anymore. I think they are great “toys” for young girls. All the stories inspired me. I think these dolls are great, even if they are more on the expensive side. This doll is like the others in my opinion, nothing special. But that is only my opinion. Go American Girl because they were a part of my childhood! ~HappyHerbivore

    • snowcares says:

That’s true, they do need some new talents for these dolls. I think they also need to make them more flexible. You can’t be a dancer without bending your knees! It would also make it much easier to play with the dolls. I do like American Girl dolls though, and I have 2 dolls (Felicity and Kit). I like the old fashion clothes that the old American Girl dolls have, but some of the new clothes, like the ones for this doll, are nothing like a real dancer would wear! I should know because I am a dancer!

    • catprincess5 says:

I really do like the new dolls, even though they might not be completely original. But I really would like to be able to buy the doll-of-the-year’s friends like they did with Chrissa. You could also get Gwen and Sonali

    • pinkangelgirl1 says:

I love American Girls, (Proud owner of Kit, Chrissa, Felicity, A just like me named Emily who looks nothing like me, Kanani, McKenna, Saige, and Marie-Grace. so, 8, currently) but why does Webkinz have an American Girl ad?

    • syd5404 says:
