Another Pet of the Month fun fact!

Hi, it’s me, the Rooster again. Here’s another fun fact for you – roosters are so awesome that there is an English nursery rhyme called ‘Cock a Doodle Doo’ that first appeared in print in 1606! That’s over 400 years ago!

Here’s how it goes:

Cock a doodle do!
What is my dame to do?
Till master’s found his fiddlingstick,
She’ll dance without her shoe.

Cock a doodle do!
My dame has found her shoe,
And master’s found his fiddlingstick,
Sing cock a doodle do!

Cock a doodle do!
My dame will dance with you,
While master fiddles his fiddlingstick,
And knows not what to do.
