Baby Showcase #115

Happy Thursday! It’s the first Baby Showcase of 2024 and maybe the last of the spontaneous holiday flairs! Holiday flairs can still be inherited from pets that already have them, but after the next Webkinz Next release some time next week they won’t show up spontaneously. But don’t worry, they’ll be back next December!

First up is this gorgeous green giraffe! As the view from my window is covered in snow and the air has gotten downright chilly, this cutie has me thinking of spring already! The gold eyes coordinate beautifully with the ossicones and golden feet, and I love the heart and flower patterns.

This extremely cheerful holiday frog has beautiful trees across the back and that fun holiday rainbow flair on the back legs. The big bold heart pet patch goes perfectly with this color scheme! The feet have an unusual pattern on the bottoms and I love those cool ice eyes!

This fabulously spicy red Gingerbread Puppy gets an ususual twist with the addition of the lop bunny back spots. The green gumdrop pet patch is a perfect match to the evening glade eyes!

Aww, I love this little purple pixie kitten! The gold eyes and ears combined with the holiday flair on the legs really make this baby festive, and I can’t resist the feathers. Super cute!

Now, I don’t think I’ve seen the Shaggy Back Pattern before — it looks really interesting, like blades of grass! It’s a lovely backdrop for the blue pixie house pet patch. The evening glade eyes here go well with the green sparkle hooves! And just for fun, a bit of holiday flair on the tail.

I love the warm orange color of this lion, especially with the coordinating blue ears and toes! The green emerald pet patch really pops with this pet, and the golden eyes are so warm and lovely.

I love this unicorn! The tabby stripes on the tail make it look like it’s one of the holiday flairs, and otherwise the stripes add so much color to the usually sedate-colored unicorns. We are looking at pink perfection here!

This lovely yorkie has a warm cedar body color, which is just a touch redder than the standard body color. Either way, it’s a beautiful backdrop for the frog’s sea green eyes and lily pad. I love the circular patterns on the legs, and of course, there’s a red candy cane tail flair to add that bit of holiday fun!

This Pixie Tiger has plenty of holiday sparkle! Those trees are a gorgeous forest for the pixie house pet patch and that color is amazing. The blue eyes contrast beautifully with the ruby body color, and this cutie also has the red candy cane tail flair!

Last but not least is this dreamy Holland Lop with the ultra pale blue body color — it looks lovely with those moon bear swirls. There’s some intense color in the front between the violet flair eyes and the rainbow leg flairs — all the more vibrant because of the muted body color. Great pet!

After some technical difficulties on Jan 1, we did manage to get our spark party going — the video for that should be ready for next week. In the meantime, enjoy one of the babies I sparked on Monday — Em Jay!

That’s it for this week! Which baby was your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.

Is it possible to post the parents so I can see what they combined to get these babies? Sparking babies is so much fun! I know there’s some random element, but it would be fun to try and recreate some of these. Also, I think it would be great if we could buy MORE sparks for a particular pet when their 3 are completed. So, if I have a really special pet, I could continue to spark babies with them and passing on their special qualities.

Wow, I was not expecting to have my baby featured! I ended up naming her Tigerlily because of her orange coloring and the stripes on her back. She is only the third baby I’ve sparked, but I plan on sparking more in the future! <3

It’s me, Emerald Autumnwish, and thanks for featuring all four of my new babies! Here are the names I gave them: “Hoppy Holly” for the frog, “Chili Chimes” for the red gingerbread puppy, “Twilight” for the lavender cat, and “Glitter Stream” for the pixie tiger.

Congrats on all of your new Next family members, @EmeraldAutumnWish! Which pets did you combine for each of these babies? I am not a cat person, but your stunning new cat babies are making me rethink my bias. I particularly love the color combos and patterning on Glitter Stream. I love the green eyes and feet set against the strawberry milkshake body color. And those EARS ~ they’re wonderful! From the back they look like two oreo cookies dunking in strawberry milk, but from the front, they glimmer with iridescence like the inside of an abalone shell. Yes! Ganz artists, please do more of this whenever possible! I love that beautiful iridescent shimmer!

Sally Webkinz, you must be so happy with Em Jay! You can’t get much more colorful! And you lucked out with some holiday flare. I’m guessing that his cute little glove is how he got his name? What is that eye color called and is it specific to the frenchie? Do all frenchies have so many cute dimples, or is yours just exceptionally happy? Please consider doing a series of articles on all of the traits that are specific to each of the pets. Congrats! I can’t wait to see the video!

They all look so adorable! If I had to choose one, it would probably be the holiday frog since it has a lot of festive flair. When it comes to the showcase though, will there be a baby showcase on February 29th (since that day only exists once every four years)?

they are all utterly cute, but I LOVE the holiday frog!!
