Spring is here, the Flower Collection Event is just around the corner, and the Lil Birdies are coming home to roost in Webkinz World. The Lil Birdies are with us all year in Ganz eStore, but in May you can spot them all around Webkinz in so many different ways – and that means so many ways to win cool spring prizes!
There are so many way to spot the Lil Birdies and so many prizes! You can find them flying around Webkinz World, Newz and the Mobile App, giving out prizes. You can find them in contests on Newz and the Share Center. You can look for them in Kinzville Park, hiding in Ganz eStore, the Kinzville Times and even in ads and on Podkinz!
To help you identify each Lil Bird, and where you can spot them, we’ve prepared a handy field guide! To print it off, click on each image and the select ‘print’ so you don’t miss a single Lil Bird-spotting all month! Be sure to check Webkinz Newz often for more details about each Lil Bird-spotting!
PLEASE NOTE: Certain birds will only be in certain places in Webkinz at certain times. NOT ALL EVENTS ARE FLOATY CLICKIES! Sometimes a bird appears as a contest prize – like in the Share Center Contest. Sometimes they are hiding on a page, or in ads. There are different ways to find each bird. Check Webkinz Newz for articles with the full details about each event as it appears. So… if you have not seen an article about a bird flying through Webkinz or hiding in a certain area, that is because that event has not happened yet. If you can’t find a bird flying around an area, that is because that event is not a Floaty Clicky. Remember to keep checking back for more info!

Yes, that is what it means. It says it will fly in Webkinz World, so that means it will be like the Floating W or the floating coins. It will be a click to win type of thing.

Nope it is FLOATING on WEBKINZ NEWZ I do not see him listed for the WEBKINZ and so far it has not been there. 2 FLOATYS in the NEWZ -DAISY and CARDINAL !!
That’s the only place I’ve seen it. I see it several times a day.

This is way too confusing, I have been everywhere the field guide says to find them and not one can be found! This needs to be reorganized to make it easier for us.
Ok, thanks to ACOOLAUNT I was sent down the right path they just didn’t necessarily say it in a way that I caught at first, so way kudos to you for the assist!!!. The reason it seems like we aren’t getting this is that basically all month you do the peek a news stuff and win those prizes with the Blue Jay. From the 21st to 24th it will be flying through webkinz world and you can win the prizes listed. The Songbird is NOT a find me click on me and win something. The Podkinz part is easy, pick up the code from podkinz for the grill. The birdbath or songbird, you have to win the Bird watching 101 Room Contest or at least be a top 10 finalist to get of those prizes. So I think this will become easier as we get into the month as the Budgie from the 5th to 7th will be in the estore, I assume you find him click him and get the sapling. I think they just started out with poor directions and some of the hardest things to understand and so many of us got oober confused. But patience is a virtue, get to Mon the 7th and I think we will all get more excited again !!
This is very confusing.. can someone explain? I know the blue jay is a peek-a-newz thing and will fly through webkinz later int the month. But what about all the other birds? It says where to find them and i go to podkins and the share center (where is says to find it) and i see nothing no matter what i click on.. Can anyone explain??
I am having the same problem. I can’t find the birds. I missed the code from yesterday.
You did not miss one yesterday…..it is in the podcast 98 and they posted the last 4 digits of the code KA5X XLXL . So the Podkinz started May 2, but it is still there. May 3-24 it should be found according to the writing in the “Share Center Contest”. This is where I do not understand. I click to the share center here and cannot find contests there. this certainly is no longer a website for children.

hi Pajamasam99 :) According to the field guide above, the way to find the blue jay is in the peek a newz all month, and then from the 21st to 24th it will fly through webkinz world. Then there is a share center contest that runs from the 3rd to 24th where you could win the songbird or the other prizes if your room is chosen. Hope that helps!
Is the Silk Sparrow considered a Lil’ songbird, and would it have a part in this bird watching event?
Or at least a Lil’ bird.
It is a lil’ bird, like the Christmas turtle dove, but it’s not a bird that can be found in real life which is probably why it’s not included
Ok, someone help, PLEASE !!! I don’t get this bird watching thing at all. The podkinz was easy the code, like always, was displayed in the podkinz. But I’ve gone to the share center contest and clicked on every version of the songbird I find and I get nothing. I’ve also sat in my account and played everything possible and no Blue Jay flew through. So, what am I missing? How do I get the additional prizes for the Blue Jay and how do I even find the Songbird? I’m SO LOST!!!
I agree, I find the Blue Jay daily on Webkinz Newz. I don’t know how to get the additional prizes for the songbird either.
I agree also. I was very excited out the birdwatching promotion but now I’m just frustrated with it!
The Songbird prize IS the Patio Fire Place. Also it is there in the Gallery to mark the opening day to the Contest to enter your Songbird Gardens for a chance to win the songbird or the bird bath. It is not a floater or a flyer. Some are not flyers or floaters. The budgie will be in the estore and it will probably mark a big green badge with a code shop code for the Webkinz Willow sapling.
I had to ask too and Mandy replied letting me know that there is no code for the lil songbird, only a chance to win one by entering a competition in the share center.
