UPDATE: That silly Otter Pup! When it was planning all the special activities for the new Lil’ Otter Pup, it accidentally planned them for JULY rather than June! Lil’ Otter Pup owners will still get a week of fun activities, but they will be from July 6 to 12.
Needless to say, the Lil’ Otter Pup was pretty disappointed. To make up for its mistake, the Otter Pup decided it would be fun to hide some toys around Webkinz Newz! Best of all? This event is open to EVERYONE!!!
Every day from June 6 to 12, look for the floating plushy only on Webkinz Newz. Click on it to have one of these adorable toys added to your Webkinz account.
The Otter Pup knows the Lil Otter Pup is going to love playing with these sweet plushies. And it still has a whole week of bonus activities to look forward to from July 6 to 12!

Okay is there a difference between the Lil Otter Pup and the Otter Pup? I have the otter pup and it won’t let me play the activities.
Yes, there is a difference between the two pets. The Lil Otter Pup is like the lil kinz pets – they are smaller versions of the pet but have the same special item and food.
Yes. The Otter Pup was released a while ago. The Lil Otter Pup just won the vote for a new Lil Kinz and was just released a few days ago (on the 6th I believe) and that is why that one gets the special events for a few days. If you want to take part in the extra activities you will need to buy a Lil Otter Pup.
The activities aren’t working, The otter pup is different then the lil otter pup, the lil otter pup is a little kinz, the activities are being held in July instead of June. That’s why they are having this event which is open to everyone.
