Caring Valley™ Weekend at Ganz eStore: War Child

Webkinz Caring Valley

This weekend is The Caring Valley™ Weekend. To celebrate, we will be having a floating item contest on Webkinz Newz. Visit Webkinz Newz from 12:01am December 11, 2010 until 11:59pm December 12, 2010 EST to enter! You could win an Enchanted Evergreen tree or a recipe food! Read the full contest rules here.

This Caring Valley Weekend we will be focusing on the "Protect Them All" area of the Caring Valley, which currently features "War Child".

War Child works with children and communities that have been affected by war and conflict. The charity helps kids go to school, and helps their families support them. They also make sure that children's rights are respected and that they can live a life free from abuse and violence.

I like the the idea of the war child project. It helps the children to learn and love. It makes the parents able to support their kids.
I think Abby is right, War shouldn’t be fought on the holidays. It shouldn’t be fought at all. Why ,Lord, must their be Terrorists, drugs, abuse, politics, and War?

  7. Abby says:

I like the idea of the War Child project. It brings goodness to the hearts of the poor people who have to suffer because of wars. I think that wars shouldn’t be fought during the Winter Holiday times because soldiers want to be home with their families during Christmas and not fighting. I know from personal experience.

I am a mom as well, and agree that the ad for “Basketball Wives” is totally inappropriate. I had actually thought it was a pop up from my computer until I saw the other Mom’s comment.
