These prizes are awesome – thanks Ganz team! I hope that you reach the totals that you are looking for. Some of us already took your warnings and downloaded the desktop app as soon as it came out. I have been using the app exclusively since mid-October when the WW site became too laggy for me to use on Chrome anymore. Works great! Few complaints. Love the wider dock (because I haven’t had the time to clean it out in a while, and it’s an overloaded mess! LOL!) Come on WW community – grab your moving buddy and let’s go!
I love the community challenges and always participate. Unfortunately, I’ve already downloaded the app to my computers. But I sure hope that others download the app – I would LOVE the fireplace! It is beautiful!!! Thanks Webkinz Staff!

I downloaded the Webkinz Desktop App a while ago, HOWEVER, the FREE PRIZES button is missing on the desktop app. I watch the videos every day so that I can earn money to buy nice items for my pets. Will the FREE PRIZES button be added to the Desktop App soon? It’s the one that is in the bottom row on the right side between the Wish Machine Button and the My Badges Button. While I like the Desktop App, I log in both ways every day just so I can earn the money watching the videos with the FREE PRIZES button. Thank you!
As the Desktop App does not currently support ads, the Free Prizes section will not be available. If that functionality is added, the feature may return.
That would be nice. I love those prizes as the clothes make beautiful outfits, work clothes and costumes. I could really use some more of those student computer desks as well. I’d like to fill out my Academy Computer Lab a bit more.
Has the team at Webkinz Classic considered a MUTE option for the App? I like to listen to music tracks and school lessons while I’m earning kinzcash in the stadium for example. On the web browser I can mute the tab so I get no distracting background stadium sounds. This is the main reason why I really dislike the App over the web browser option. Do you think there could be the option to ‘mute’ Webkinz in the settings?
It is a suggestion that has been passed on. If you are running Windows, a workaround is to open the Desktop App, click the Windows key to bring up the Taskbar — go to the Windows button and then Settings. Look for the advanced sound controls to turn down/off the volume for the app. The app must be running for this to appear.
Oh, there’s an idea. I just leave my headphones plugged into the computer and use my ear buds on my phone if there is a video or something that I want to listen to on my phone. A bit analog but it works!
What of those of us that already have it? I downloaded it a good while back after several occasions of the game not working right in the browser to try and still play avoiding whatever browser issue it was having. I don’t suppose we count in the number of app downloads somewhere.
I don’t think so, which is sad. I also switched over to the Desktop version right away. I fell in love with it because of the full screen and the added plus of not having near as many issues with it!
How can I tell my Webkinz friends who may not know? Can you add it to the Webkinz mail options? That way I can send it to my Webkinz friends!
