In our ongoing effort to make Webkinz easier to use, we’ve decided to streamline how KinzChat PLUS is used in Webkinz World.
Starting next Wednesday, March 12, KinzChat PLUS will no longer be available in Kinzville Park, Adventure Park or Coral Cove on Vacation Island. Our numbers showed that KinzChat PLUS was being used very little in these locations. By removing KinzChat PLUS, we can now skip the chat selection and room selection screens, so you’ll be able to get into the parks faster than ever!
The one place where KinzChat PLUS is being used all the time is in the Clubhouse Trading Room. We know that our traders love the freedom that KinzChat PLUS provides when making complex trades or looking for specific items. So on March 12, the Clubhouse KinzChat PLUS section will be switched over to the KinzChat PLUS Trading Area. That’s right, you’ll be automatically taken to the KinzChat PLUS room – no middle steps needed!
These changes make Webkinz easier to play, particularly for new players, and will allow our Chat Room monitors to focus their efforts on the rooms with the most activity.

We’d like to address the question of whether the Trading Room will become too crowded once the Park no longer has KinzChat Plus: please note that if our numbers show that the Trading Room is TOO crowded, we will be adding more rooms (as many as necessary) to ensure there’s enough space for everyone to enjoy the Trading Room.
Also, we want you to know that we’ve heard your comments and opinions on this planned change and will be considering your input as we move forward. We’ve also decided to close comments on this article, as we’re now aware of the major concerns from Webkinz World players.

At least now our pets won’t be wondering if everyone will like their outfits!! No one will be able to comment about it. I don’t think you should take chat plus away from every room in the clubhouse.

Dear Ganz! Please listen to your customers. We buy deluxe and go to Webkinz not only to play but to be with our friends to chat!! We are like a Webkinz family. Without chat I don’t know what the point of being in Webkinz is. Please Save Kinz Chat!!!! :(
The decision to eliminate Chat Plus from the Parks sounds more like a cost cutting measure than a way to make things easier for users. Who, by the way, might have been consulted before such a sweeping change was made. Here’s an easy solution, keep a few park rooms open with both the Chat and Chat Plus options still available.
Ganz please reconsider this awful decision! The main reason I bought deluxe is so that I have the option of meeting friends in the Cove to chat! We are like a webkinz family and look forward to not only doing tasks in webkinz but also being able to chat with all our friends while there! I thinks getting rid of webkinz chat is just terrible. I am so upset and so is everyone I know! Please listen to you customers. Save Kinz Chat!!!!!! :(
I don’t really see this as an improvement. It is more if you can’t use chat plus right then you won’t use it. With all the inappropriate behavior in the chat plus park, especially park one, the language, the harassment of other players, etc. I can understand this move. Does not mean I like it though.

Well, its not my fault… I always try to follow the rules but some things I dont know why they dont allow you to say… Just random words? Anyways, im always in the kinzchat plus park!!! thats where all my friends are!
