Hello again Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with a special report! From September 26 – 28 (ending at noon), we will be voting for a new Christmas room theme that will be released in the W-Shop on December 1st!
You’ll have 3 themes to choose from (see concept drawings below). Look over each concept drawing carefully because once the winning theme has been decided, the concept drawing will be used as inspiration for the rest of the items that will be included in the theme.
The first theme you’ll have to choose from is the Gingerbread House theme. The gingerbread furniture included in this theme will look like part of a cute living room that is set up for Christmas. Each piece is decorated with icing and candies. A Wood Stove, Grandfather Clock, Armchair and Sofa are all examples of items that would be included in this theme:
Your next choice will be a Christmas Shopping theme. This theme will look like the interior of a shopping mall that looks ready for the Christmas rush of holiday shoppers. Items in this theme would include a SantaKinz Display, Gift Wrapping Station, Store Fronts decorated for Christmas and an Escalator Slide:
Your third and final choice will be the Countryside Christmas theme. This old fashioned Christmas theme would include outdoor items and elements of nature. Examples of items that would be part of this theme include a Snow Covered Lamp Post, Snow Covered Shrubs and Trees, Fencing and a Toboggan Hill:
The Home For The Holidays room theme will still be available this year however, the only place to get it will be from the Mobile Zone section of the W-Shop on the Webkinz Mobile App.

I’m torn between the country Christmas and the shopping mall . I have only been on here for 1yr.so I havn’t had the chance to get the outside stuff for christmas.But I like the shopping concept too.

The Gingerbread theme looks like an upgrade from most of the older sweets and treats items… but also looks like you could include any (or all!) of your favorite pieces… I think the Christmas Shop is so different from anything we’ve had before, and I love what I see so far, but I’m even more excited to see what else the creative team has “in store” for us! (forgive the pun :P) As for the outdoor decorations, I’m a sucker for Christmas lights displays ranging from “National Lampoon’s Christmas” to the “Less is More” or building scenes that would almost be like stepping back into the days of Dicken’s novels, with the beautiful wreaths and the big red bows, the candles, the lights, …. my least favorite part is having to choose between them at all :C! So far, I think I’m “sold” on the Christmas Store (bad pun #2!) I’m excited for ALL the holidays now! Hoping for a sale on the e-store points soon, I have a feeling I’ll be needing some!
