I have some good news to share… We’ll be releasing a new room theme in the W-Shop and it’s up to you to decide which one! Similar to what we have done in the past, you’ll have 3 options to choose from. Mike, one of our talented artists here at Webkinz headquarters, has created a concept drawing to represent each theme. You’ll need to use these concepts to decide which one to vote for on March 11th. The theme that receives the most votes will be released in the W-Shop, for KinzCash, on May 8th.
You had the opportunity to vote for the Painted Glass room theme in the past, but this time around, you’ll also have the Playful Ponies & Cotton Candy Kitchen room themes to choose from. Here’s a look at the concept drawings with a short description of each theme:
Make sure you look over each concept drawing carefully, becauseĀ once the winning theme has been decided, the concept drawing will be used as inspiration for the rest of the items that will be included in the theme.
You’ll also want to check Webkinz Newz often once the results are announced. We will be releasing concept drawings of each item as they are being created. You’ll also have the opportunity to comment on each one and offer your ideas and feedback before the final items are created.
Want to see more of Mike’s work? Mandy and I interviewed him on Podkinz Episode 101 when we released the Garden Oasis room theme in June. We also interviewed Mike on Podkinz Episode 110 when we released the Christmas Cabin room theme.
Do you know which theme you’ll be voting for on March 11th? Let us know by leaving a comment in the section below…
I will be voting for the Cotton Candy Kitchen!
painted glass or cotton candy kitchen…
glass or the kitchen one.
Painted glass! Fingers crossed there’s lots of color in this theme. And I hope there are stained glass windows too!
POOONIES!
Playful Ponies sounds like a theme I would love to get!
I’m not really a fan of any, but the cotton candy one is pretty cute!
The Cotton Candy looks so fun!
PLAYFUL PONIES!!!!! Omg it’s so cute!
I like the painted glass best. Also is it just me or was the painted glass a choice before?
I’m probably going to choose cotton candy kitchen though because it will go great with a room that I’m working on.
they mention that in the article yes
