I have some good news to share… We’ll be releasing a new room theme in the W-Shop and it’s up to you to decide which one! Similar to what we have done in the past, you’ll have 3 options to choose from. Mike, one of our talented artists here at Webkinz headquarters, has created a concept drawing to represent each theme. You’ll need to use these concepts to decide which one to vote for on March 11th. The theme that receives the most votes will be released in the W-Shop, for KinzCash, on May 8th.
You had the opportunity to vote for the Painted Glass room theme in the past, but this time around, you’ll also have the Playful Ponies & Cotton Candy Kitchen room themes to choose from. Here’s a look at the concept drawings with a short description of each theme:
Make sure you look over each concept drawing carefully, because once the winning theme has been decided, the concept drawing will be used as inspiration for the rest of the items that will be included in the theme.
You’ll also want to check Webkinz Newz often once the results are announced. We will be releasing concept drawings of each item as they are being created. You’ll also have the opportunity to comment on each one and offer your ideas and feedback before the final items are created.

Painted glass!
It seemed like for the last room theme vote the Painted Glass theme didn’t stand a chance against the Ironwood and Garden Oasis ones. Most people wanted one of those two to win. I was more for the Painted Glass, though. I’m so glad that it is brought back as a choice this year, and it has another chance at being our new room theme for the year.

Gonna have to go with the cotton candy kitchen but i have to admit none of these themes spark a real interest with me, would love to see more color schemes besides the same blue pink and floral colors
Just what I was hoping for-dining furniture! I am voting for painted glass in lots of different colors!!!! Can’t wait!

what if none of these appeal to us at all?!? there are so many cool new design trends happening right now… and it feels like webkinz is just reworking ones that already exists. it would be great to see something really FRESH from the designers!
I was thinking much the same. They had that lovely Iron and Wood theme, last year. I think that would have been nicer than the colored glass. Most people didn’t like the Owl Tub chair from the Fun to be Young theme and I view the Pony chair very similarly. These kind of remind me of those cheap foam chairs you can buy in department stores for little kids to sit on. They eventually get kind of wonky and faded over time.
