To access your collection, open the THINGS TO DO menu and click on the link to the Kinzville Map. Then, click on the acorn icon to open your collection.
Everyday, you’ll get 1 free acorn, just for clicking on the collection icon (Deluxe Members will get 2 free acorns a day).
You can get up to 5 more acorns throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Acorn on WebkinzNewz.com (make sure you collect your free one first before trying to find one on Webkinz Newz).

This is unrelated, but it says champaigh expired when I try to do peek a newz.
Hi ~eclipse07! I get that message a lot too. I think it would help if I got in the habit of doing the peek-a-newz activity at the same time every day. If you did it last night, and then you tried again this morning, it would give you an expired message for trying to do the activity twice in one day. The WKN clock resets around 8:00 PM EST, not at 12:00 AM. So I completely missed doing the activity on September 1st because I did not get to go on the computer until nighttime. The peek-a-newz activity that I am working on right now, is actually for September 3. I know that it’s confusing, but just remember that the WKN day resets at 8:00 PM and that should help. Good luck!
Try again; it happens sometimes to me, usually on the fifth appearance of the host. Just keep searching Newz for another host, and click it again. It has worked for me every time. If you start over, you’ll need to search for the host five times again. Hope it works for you!
I can not ask friends for acorns on either one of my accounts!! I can ask friends for other things just fine though…..

Loving these prizes, but I thought the grand was school bus XD and is anyone else not liking the challenge of the month? Zingoz Switcherooz is the one game I stay away from cause it’s literally impossible for me to win it…
This challenge really is a challenge – Smoothie Moves is so slow and lagging on the desktop version – it’s too bad that the mobile app version doesn’t count. As for Zingoz Switcheroos – after losing games to host friends, I finally just opened up another window with another account and played against myself – it’s the only way I could win because I just don’t understand that game.
You’re not the only one struggling with Switcherooz! No matter what I do, I lose at that game. I don’t even really understand it. If I turn 3 pieces, the other color turns half the board, and I can’t get ahead. It’s infuriating. I lost my temper with it and got a family member to play it, lol. It just makes me too frustrated.
Along with the school challenge, it’s a lot. I NEVER play Switcherooz. I have no idea how to play it. I’m going to have to bribe my little brother to do this part for me.
I am with you; I can’t win that game to save my life…I can’t figure out how to get ahead, and I lose EVERY time. I’ll try, but I don’t have high hopes for this challenge.
Is anyone else having trouble with their food meter going backwards on some foods or not moving at all on others??
yes I have had this happen as well.
Little critters have been absolute eating machines for some time now. Some foods barely move the meter, and when it does move, it drops quickly. Sometimes you have to just look at them and say, “Sorry, sweetie, no more for right now.”

Did you collect the floating Webkinz Newz Acorn before you logged in to get the 2 free acorns from the icon on the Map Page? Try collecting the the Map ones first, then ask your friends for more, then, lastly, get the floating one from WKN. Ganz knows this is an issue – it’s explained in the above article. Good Luck!

I’ve had that happen in past events, too. It all seems to catch up eventually, though. I don’t know how or why; but one day my collection count was right where it should be…like magic, lol. Maybe it’ll catch up in a day or two. If not, you can contact Customer Support for help.

Hi TRINSTER – go to the NEWZ BLOG in the purple menu bar. Type “banana pops” into the blank search option. That will bring up the article you need. :-)

I haven’t been able to do any of our Treasure Hunts ever since all of the new news postings & the link disappeared. Ive tried searching for acorn collection & clicking on all. still cant find it? These are my favorite collection event prizes to date!! I hope there will be future prizes that match with the wardrobe and shelf/hook thing, my favorite two prizes :))

For some reason I can not ask friends for acorns, Last month the marshmallow event worked for me. This problem has been on going for the last 2 years, some events work for me and some do not, any ideas what might be the problem.

Thanks Sally, but that did not work for me, this is bad I will miss this event because my old computer that I relied on in the past, to by pass this problem is gone. I think it has something to do with Windows 10
This happens to me, too. I just returned over 80 acorns to people and only got 2 back today. Out of the last 2 days I had 4 total returned. I know people are returning all I ask as they are good friends who help me with this. I’m on Chrome.
